  3. Heard about this in Spain at the Hitsville event, but it hadn't been confirmed, although date was mention around the end of March 2012.
  4. If you're not interested in the other side glue something solid to it to hold it in place, I use a card myself.
  5. Hope you get well soon Keith.
  6. I bought Queen Of Fools on Checker in 1971 thinking it was another version of Barbara Mills.
  7. The Man's gone and done it again, look forward to hearing the tracks.

  11. I now have tickets available for the BROTHERS OF SOUL appearance at the Britannia Hotel, Coventry on the 22nd October 2011 PRICE £25.00 + £1.50 (Recorded Delivery) You can save on the postage if you arrange pick up from me. Going to be be a great night of DETROIT SOUL being spun, Plus the live performance of BRIDGES, KNIGHT & EATON better known as THE BROTHERS OF SOUL.
  12. I stock the kent stuff so does Roger Banks as do numerous outlets it's also on Amazon plus they are always mentioned on here, I would imagin you have to be blind not to be aware of them, so as far as Kent releases are concerned I don't think they could do anymore to promote them, which is why some titles sell out quickly.
  13. Seem to remember some very short ones back in the early 70's, if a track didn't work the floor off it came and the next one was spinning, which was quite annoying if you were one of the few who happened to be dancing to it. Those were the days when the dance floor was rammed the majority of the time and there of there course were plenty of new spins to try out each night. Seen that happened to what are deemed classic tunes these days.
  14. I'v had a few people in the shop lately asking for the Wigan Casino's Group, when I question them further they say, you know that group who do them northern soul songs, I've given up now being suprised by people, I just sell them a cd as if I don't know any different.
  15. Had a couple of young girls in the shop today buying vinyl, it was interesting watching them through boxes of 45's and Lp's, got talking to them and they were taking music in school, they were aged 14 & 15 and when I asked them what the attraction of vinyl was they both said it was holding the physical item and the sound sounded much better then mp3. They spent £30 between them, which I guess was quite a sum for them and they haggled me down on a few items. They were into 60's soul and mod so there's hope for the future still.
  16. Made payment from my a/c a short time ago and also recieved payment, so ok for me.
  17. From what I remember I felt sorry for Jackie because the crowd at one point boo him because he sang some of his earlier material, and didn't sing the WHO WHO song which of course was massive at the time.
  18. £10.00 + £1.00 UK P&P Add a £1.00 for outside UK. Paypal to sales@funkyfeetrecords.co.uk Great Un-Issued track from 1976 to celebrate HAYLEY Records 10th Anniversary.

  20. Got both BARI releases when they appeared, but you don't see them around these days.
  21. WHITCHURCH & RITZ
  22. I had 50 copies off Giattino then took another 25, when I went back for some more he didn't have anymore, the story is that they came from Hymes himself and they were the left over stock from the days when he did live shows and sold them after the show, the record didn't go into shops, they were just sold at his live shows, which is no different from 100's of artists, and was a regular thing to do even in the UK.
