All tracks seem to be back where they should be now. not sure what happened ?
-
This is odd.... all the tracks seem embedded in the wrong postings ? rick i never heard that GG from 93 before but it seems to have disapeaed and gas been replaced by petes selection.
-
Absolutely george jackson made some amazing soul music my favourite

Just 2 gone list updated plenty more nice records still available thanks, dylan -
If an issue or demo commands a premium for being rarer than the other i'd be buying the cheaper variant personally. Only reason I would pay more is if it's an issue with a different flip you don't get on the demo

Poll: 60s or 70s Which one was the most Soulful decade
Dylan replied to Mike's topic in All About the SOUL
A change is gonna come must stake a claim. its a hugely inflduential record and was 64. i guess i know my question doesnt have a definitive answer but in some of the earlier records there is something missing to really call them soul. i wonder if they apprecitaed just how special the now aknowledged classsic soul tracks were when they were making them. yes it is a whole topic in itself to answer this one i'd lean towwards 60s but then its a close run thing both decades had some fantastic and pretty average output. -

Is there an aknowdged year when blues and r&b all blended together to create soul ? any particular record that is considered the first soul record ? -

I just noticed the roy roberts you move me up for sale. did it ever get issued and come out with a different flip ? i dont ever recall seeing any issue copies only demo copies. dylan
-
A gentle reminder for this batch. just 3 gone so plenty to go at.
-
I agree with this there does seem to be a very high volume of top end rare records continually popping up for sale. i dont think these are new finds but more likely people selling what has already been found and went into collections some time ago. and it probably will continue for a good few years. there will be exceptions but this must be he majority. a good % of the records are used and not deadstock.
-
Yes I thought tony galla was very expensive and it's not that good imo. was it 200 or so in early 2000s ? not that long ago....
-
Lots of items going for less than a ton. seem like odd choices considering the wealth of stock John has access to. wade Flemings just silly but not at all surprising.
