    yes they are real and its a great 45. I think he's stopped selling the 12" now and switched to the 7's. There is a thread onm here about the 12" being an extended mix that is spoilt not imporved. I found him very polite and a nice person to deal with.

    Big demand for the "Doing our thing" side on the funk scene and its had a reissue on the strength of this but have any soul DJs tried playing the flip "thoughts" It knocks me sideways. Quite slow pace but I reckon it would go down a treat. and has anybody got or seen a M- copy all the copies I know of are vg or vg+ at best depending on how strict you grade 45s.

    I'n not a big fan of "walk with a grove" the first 20 seconds suggest its going to be awesome then it juts falls short from that point on. It never goes up a gear and just plods along with that same riff. I'd say you could get this from the states for $400-500 quite easily prehaps less if you dig enough.

    I like this record but it would be even better if it wasn't for that guitar. Sounds out of place to me.

    should be about 20 euro's the number of copies you see.... but saying that every copy seems to sell for a decent price.

    I've seen 2 different presses of "lovin you" one creditied to Arthur Brown and the other to Pep Brown. Good luck getting a copy i'm sure you were watching the 2 that just went through ebay. No bids on the first one BTW. He didn't take me up on the offer I made him but i've since found another. Dylan

    So whatever grading system is used there will still be some cases where additional comments are required. No system is fool proof. I was playing devils advocate with the 2 examples I choose simply to make a point. I am not looking hard enough for my 45s if there are better graders than CM...

    I've just baught an unplayed 45 which by appearance is totally mint. But due to low quality pressing, probably a low budget set up, there is some background noise. So how should this 45 be graded ? It would be great if the goldmine standard grading system become the worldwide stanard but I doubt that will ever happen. I noticed a reference to Craig Moerer earlier in this thread i'd say he's probably the strictest of the major dealers. His vg+ is best i've come across.

    i'm having a feling of deja vu here. is this just the hot box thread just re-packaged ? My view is if you travel a long way you want rare sounds you can't hear at home or on CD's but also they must be quality sounds or else whats the point. Rarity alone is not enough. but having said that my memory from the yarmouth weekender was Joe Tex "All the heaven a man realy needs" so my arguement is flawed. I'll sit on the fence for this debate as I enjoy hearing the big money rarities but also enjoy a few lesser played ceapies thrown into the mix.

    I only became aware of this 45 quite recently and saw 1 copy go through ebay buy didn't bid as I didn't realy have an idea of how much I wanted to pay.
