The hard truth is , if you can't afford it ,then don't do it , its the same with everything in life , there is always a limit to what any dj or collector can afford (for most) . So instead of throwing money away on boots go and enjoy the life and dancing of northern soul , then collect as and when you can . if you are young there is no rush , plenty of time later . get some dancing and club visits done. I would love to own and fly an original spitfire ... but i cant afford it ... so i wont go and buy a cessna , paint it brown and green and hope nobody will notice pete

I played it out sammy .. and i put whatever i play at the back of my box on the lid , it was near an amp and i did not realise how hot the air blowing out of it was .. it warped it big time , the demo's are very thin and it just went way out of shape so easy .. tried everything to get it back but no way .. it is a sad loss , not just because its is mine , but its one less in true terms . I look after my records really well , but things happen sometimes .. hope you are well and merry crimbo ! pete

not always true .. depends on what time of the night the pictures were taken , if early then it can look a little sparse , where as later when in full flow the photographer may well have put their cammera away because its too crowded ... on the other hand a close cropped shot can lie too as it does not show the full picture so to speak ,so it can look full , but was not ... better to just tell the truth as a promoter , why lie? it serves no one and the people who were there and reading a comment know the truth pete

if its a "soul night" then 99% of soul people will be there by 10.00 pm at the latest , with only the odd one who could not make it till late .. ( and they are probably known soul people and would be allowed in anyway) .. so 10.00 pm is a good starting point , it is also down to the people on the door who really should know who is who .. a promoter should man the door from start to finish to make every effort to control who is coming in , also with appointed deputies within the night to keep a check on how the night is running and possible trouble spots ... most of which would be removed at source with proper door managment .. for every drunk allowed in say goodbye to at least two true people next time ! pete

DVD ? this one is going to be .... , as far as I know ? ... world wide cinema release .. they were doing sub titles for some markets , including USA lol the accents are quite strong .. and authentic too .. so looking good Eddie ! pete
