hi there looking at these pics and i think marvellous... i got onto the northern soul scene in 1974 when i was 12...only local places to start with as i wernt old enough.. but i moved on up to travelled venues as i got older...thankyou for sharing your memories through your pics it gives great meaning to the term northern soul both to the 70's soulies and the new blood that wants to get on the scene. ktf susan(Mrs Casper) -

as a Rotherham lad I remember these times so well.... loved "The Windmill" sunday nights.... great crowd ......and yes, .... the assembly rooms, Is that still there ? .. KGB, Samanthas ,...Tiffanys... Baileys etc etc.. Clifton Hall was superb ! (not forgeting the "dragon" at Dinnington eh Sean ) Steve Croft , Ajax ..... I live in notts now but was was talking to Smiggy the other month at "magna"... no one seems to know what happened to Derek ?? Pete KTF
