Has the film been released yet or has it gone straight to DVD?

 

(Everyone probably knows but I've been out of touch a little while I'm afraid....)

DVD  ?  this one is going to be  .... , as far as I know ?  ... world wide cinema release .. they were doing sub titles for some markets , including USA lol  the accents are quite strong  .. and authentic too ..  so looking good Eddie !

what a brilliant weekend at Blackburn ! it finaly all came together and seemed to run like clockwork both days .. the young people were superb and so very pacient with the inevitable stop start of on set filming... we could not stay for the last three hours soul night because we were working at Nunny nighter too , but it would no doubt have been a good session ... a few dancing injurys and sprains with a few by close of play Sunday , but nothing too serious ...

As for authentic ? well overall very very good , sure everyone would be able to add this that and the other... but overall the impression of a night at the casino was done so very very well,and with the upmost care to get it right all the way, after editing will it be even more convincing ... top marks all round ! well done to everyone

proper pleased this is on again ! .. superb atmosphere .. nothing "plastic" about this place , top "northern soul" venue , it will be packed to the rafters !

we had a fantastic day filming and dancing at the dome... thursday just not the ideal day , as Tommo says with work n' travel etc .. hope to get to the exhibition though ..

Dean and the film crew showed such a passion and understanding of what they wanted to film and the younger genearation of soulies were fantastic in everyway possible, in dance and dress , and passion about the music that has fueled us now for decades... top people !

hope to see some of them at stoke all nighter this weekend ...

totaly knackerd ! we had a superb time amongst old and new friends at the "dome" ... the format was almost as "natural" as possible ... instructions were to just enjoy as if at an all dayer... there was no pressure and the filming and photos were non obtrusive so as to give a normal look.. the end result ? ... guess we shall see eventually

All in all a great day out with super music and a real "up for it " crowd ... lovely company with Andy N' Tracey, Tommo, Trickster, Ian n' louise, Goldie, James, to say but a few .. the directors and film crew were very very nice and had a real interest in what they were trying to do and made all so very welcome on an individual basis
