  1. Two very different tunes but both equally brilliant for a fiver-ish.................. Good Time Charlie-Stagger Lee The Jones Girls - Nights Over Egypt
  2. Ditto Mak,right ball ache. To answer the question Yes in short.Still bid on tunes from the states but factor the price hike into my bid to try offset the increase.Find it's more an issue on cheaper tunes as sometimes the postage makes them over priced. Cheers Martyn
  3. Bloody hell great price for Jackie Verdell, somebody snap it up quick, great tune sounds brilliant played out. Cheers Martyn
  4. Richard Thanks, remembered the Sunflower bit Cheers Martyn
  5. Dave There's another female version too but been old I can't remember who as well as Funkadelic & The Jackson's doing it. Co written by Theresa with George Clinton & Sidney Barnes. Cheers Martyn
  6. Don I'll be playing this at weekend Cheers Martyn
  7. Trevor Berbick.........the red wine years  You're a bonny bunch aren't you..............hope Gaz is gonna behave himself when we're djing together in the Toon Take care. Cheers Martyn
  8. Kev Is this an H & G stomper Cheers Martyn PS How's the knee?
  9. How very dare you...........& you live in East Hull..........which is the Christian side of the river where it only rains when East Park needs watering & where grass & tree flourish. Not like the heathen side of the river where it's always dark n gloomy & nothing will grow, were all wear nothing but black n white clothing as they have never seen colour I feel we may carry this on at the weekend Cheers Martyn
  10. Phil .........no I don't HONEST........I happy in the East Riding.......gods own country. I may support the premier Yorkshire football team (The Mighty Leeds) but really I support a proper team from a proper sport...........Hull Kingston Rovers, come the Robins Cheers Martyn
  11. Kegsy Our kid was never really into records so couldn't tell me anything about it so just assumed it was an early boot............you learn summat new every day,ta. Cheers Martyn
  12. I've got a boot on "Trip" with Ad-Libs-Boy From New York City & The Jelly Beans (can't remember the title without digging it out) on the other side,I acquired it off my older brother who went to Mojo & The Wheel & it's from those days. Cheers Martyn
  13. Derek No way..............I like the hour drive to keep away from you lot,I don't mind coming over as a missionary now & then Cheers Martyn
  14. Get yourself to Empty Bottles in Leeds, seedy, tatty, grotty toilets, hot hell in summer, hot as hell in winter but music & atmosphere to die for. A close second is Bradford rare & underplayed at mill lane,it's a great side room of a pub that's like "Shameless",again a night full with atmosphere & great music. Just behind them is the new room for Driving Beat in Leeds,a great room with a small raised dancefloor but most were dancing on the stone floor but who cared as there was such a buzz & music to match. So yes still some interesting room to be found. Cheers Martyn
  15. Wear running shoes & find out where all the exits are Try to make people dance but don't panic at an empty dancefloor to a few tunes & be prepared to defend your plays with passion. Cheers Martyn
  16. Jo Nicked my copy off my older brother years ago & it has stayed one of my fave LP's of all time, some of the covers are better then the originals imo Cheers Martyn
  17. John Happy days, sounds even better played out Cheers Martyn
  18. Dean Tune!!! Always got room for this in my playbox Cheers Martyn
  19. Kev And first time I heard it was up at Steve Wilson's do in Darlo..........see how you lot lead me astray Cheers Martyn
