Don't panic.........the one shows shit & no one watches it............I bet there's one tosser at work who does watch it & he'll tell the rest of the lads & they'll love taking the piss
Well a day of SS cold turkey is quite enough,I'm glad to be back
On that thought what did we do before SS.........heaven forbid I must have talked to our lass

We've been down this road too many times, couldn't really give a toss what others are doing unless they start shouting the odds about what I'm doing?I find it easy..........I go where I know I'll have a good night(there's lots of different factors that dictate that)..........I don't go to places I know won't be my cuppa tea..........easy really.

Sanity at last..........a few of my favourite night's have disappeared recently so have had to cast the net a little wider or on occasions stop in as there's nothing to float my boat but I can still find enough places to go to have a rather groovy time...........that works for for me!!

I'd love to know how many of us are sat thinking...........is it that bad, wonder how much it'll go for? It's probably the nearest any of us will ever get to even thinking about bidding one one...........in truth I think it'll go for more then a pint & a packet of crisps so I'm out

Couldn't agree more but it's a bit of guilty secret don't you think as you can't talk to "normal" people about how the design of a records excites you or as someone mentioned early how a type face looks. This is before we've even dropped a needle on it,to most of the population it sounds weird but what do they know
My names Martyn Bird & I'm a vinyl addict

I'm in no way a British collector but over the past couple of years or so when I'm looking for something and come across a UK copy at similar price (give or take a few quid) I've found myself going for the UK copy above the US one,no idea why really.Recently got a lovely green & white TMG demo of Smokey Robinson-More Love.

Remember Jenny(Banks) & Tracey(Watson) going down those stairs on a tray..........I think they might have had a drink
Great nights.

I thought it'd already been established that "Northern Soul" was a later made up genre that meant nothing when the records were made,so shouldn't your question have been when did those R n B records become Northern Soul?

Not sure if this has been on before but is new to me?
Been watching "Soulpower" on Sky Arts 1,a 4 part series about the evolution of soul music.First one has been great, tracking it's roots back to Gospel,Blues etc.Well worth a watch.
