  10. Hey Up As we all know likes & dislikes are the the lifeblood of the scene & drives the next new sound but so far this is a tune I find I'm in such a minority (obviously everyone's wrong & I'm right ).I was just wondering if I could find some others in my gang but it looks like I'm Billy No Mates............again I was with Tony Hatfield when he bought his at York Soul Club all-dayer a few years ago & he paid what I thought was way over the top for it,looks a bargain now? Cheers Martyn Cheers Martyn
  11. Mal This is my problem with my post on the thread it could possibly side track the original posters question(sorry)........but as we're here You want to see the looks when I make my less then complementary comments about it when it come on at a "do",you'd have thought I'd fed Bambi to the big bad wolf I think it been a radio records would improve it............a bit of static & loss of wave length would be a great improvement Cheers Martyn
  12. First off apologies to the starter of the thread & feel free to ask the mods to move this post??? But I do think this has some relevance? Am I the only one who doesn't like this? When I hear it out it rams the floor & everyone round me seems to be drooling over it & I just think it's bland at best..........I could be a lot harsher but it's Sunday??? Cheers Martyn
  13. Andy This one for me,other two are OK with out doing a lot for me Cheers Martyn
  14. Funky mover from me today,I've it got on the LP but think it did get a 45 release? The LP is worth tracking down, loads of great tracks on it. Hearts Of Stone - You Gotta Sacrifice We Gotta Sacrifice
  15. Mick Part of the problem for me is been on the various threads from nearly the beginning I've posted most of my stuff, well without going up into the loft to find the odd thing hidden away in some dark corner. So try not to repeat tunes so only post when I get something new or feel something is relevant? What we need is a bit of new blood? B side from me today,t'other side of Candy. The Astors-I Found Out UK Atlantic

  21. Ian Wonder why it wasn't a hit with such an endorsement Cheers Martyn
  22. Dave Always seem to see more demo's for sale then issues? I would have said the other way round but I'd be guessing. Cheers Martyn PS One of my few finds......20p in a junk shop in Hull in the late 70t's
