  5. Chalks I wasn't really thinking of aiming it at soul night crowd but the old nighter goers who have lapsed for whatever reason.I know of a few as I would think you do who still have that nighter ethic but just can't do nighters anymore. But Dave's made the point that it's been tried & wasn't a great success. Cheers Martyn
  6. Dave Well answered,we're all just trying to help. Cheers Martyn
  7. Hey Up Callum You're right about the music making people dance but with Wilton not having a music policy you are at the mercy of each dj,personally that's a plus to me but not all appreciate that range of music this sometimes can produce.Other venues with an up-tempo policy have gone to the wall in the past so I'm not sure it's that simple.I think Wilton's problems are more complex & think it's a wider problem of the nighter scene in general??? Take care matey & hope to catch up soon. Cheers Martyn
  8. Chalks That's what I mean, early start opens it up to more people & that's just what is needed.I'm not sure a 4am would deter the travellers as it's late enough to make it worth your while even if they don't get there a little later then the earlier start?? Cheers Martyn
  9. Chalks Another good point...........I'd been going years before I even knew there was anything behind them curtains Would make people sit at the tables nearer the dancefloor which may entice them onto the dancefloor more ofter???? Cheers Martyn
  10. Chalky I'd go further then that..........9 til 5..........or even 8 til 4. This then opens it up to a wider audience in the respect of some who don't do nighters or people who work etc. Cheers Martyn
  11. Joan Can I get my request in early, will you play.............Wally Coco please Looking forward to coming across to the darkside of the Pennines,it's been awhile Cheers Martyn
  12. About time this was put up for all to see,so the bottom line is you don't support Wilton there will be no Wilton! Mick had it right..............this is The Wilton...........nearly 18 year of carrying the torch for new music. If it were to go I think it would be the first nail in the coffin of the forward thinking side of the scene??Now Dave & Mouse have spelt it out for you all,no "if only" it's in black white WILTON NEEDS OUR SUPPORTS!!!!!!! Cheers Martyn
