Makes me laugh when I see MGM issues of Tony Middleton and Charades listed as auction items.
I remember going to Rob Lythall's house in Leicester around 78 and he had 25 count boxes of both, selling them as a £2 special.
Was there ever a better feeling then standing on a dance floor at three in the morning. When suddenly you hear the opening notes of one of your favourites.
You're already wide awake but those few seconds of music take you to an even better place!
In the words of Mastercard, PRICELESS.
Does'nt matter what sort of music you are into. hal David has to be at the top of the tree when it comes to lyricists. If you have a pulse anybody would have been touched by at least one of his songs.
#He's probably composing for the angels as I write this.
God bless Hal.
Doris Smith. No good guy. Limelight wd.
I'll grade at vg++. Probably ex. £100 inc postage.
Syl Johnson. Do you know what love is. Special Agent wd.
Superb copy. Mint minus. £300 inc postage.
Cash preferred please. Paypal ok but buyer pays the charges.
Just found it and played it.
Mine is virtually mint minus but I paid a bit more then £200 for mine. I'd rather keep it mate, brilliant, forgotten how good it was.
But at least you have another option above.
Best wishes
Dave
