  1. Some very cheap records there Dave. Even allowing for the condition of some. You won the lottery?
  2. Didn't a guy have one on here the other week. Reduced to £125?
  3. Ady. Some interesting looking tracks here. Would it be too much work to do sound clips? Would surely boost the sales.

Mel Williams. "Burn baby Burn". Star. vg+ (probably ++) £600. Recently went for 800+ on JM's. Powerhouse Northern, cooing girls. its got everything. Sammy Lee "What goes around" Promco. M-. £500. 5. Hi Steve. Ady Pountain says he has never seen one. And that guy finds records! Hope you are well mate.
  6. Cheers mate. Perhaps having just the album might not be so bad after all!
  7. "Where did you learn to make love like that". 45 only please. Fair price paid for a nice clean copy. Thanks. Dave
  8. See what you mean Steve. Great video and the songs pretty good as well.
  9. If you have no luck on the 45, have the Stateside reissue album for £20.
  10. Thanks mate. Heard Eddy Edmondson play this on Solar a while ago. Now where's that wants section?
  11. Did the Sharon Ridley come out on a 45?
  12. Always big in my record room. fantastic! Is there an enterprising oldies dj out there who will take this record to a bigger audience?
  13. Definitely played at St Ives/Peterborough around 77.
  14. I was all set to buy the Nancy Wilson till the last thirty seconds.
  15. As usual, a great mix of good records I haven't heard before. Always enjoy your sales clips paul.
  16. Hi Chris. I have a copy I would let go. If no luck with mark pm me. ATB Dave
  17. Likewise from Me Mike. As someone who doesn't get about much now its invaluable for me for keeping in touch with the scene and old friends. And of course, for buying and selling and hearing records which would have escaped me otherwise. I'll be expecting to see your name in the New Years Honours List sometime soon Mike. Well done.
  18. Lynn Varnado. A record from the "dark side" Julian?
  19. Once again, the annual big thank you to Dave and Bev for a weekender that runs seamlessly. Highlights for me. Phil Dick playing "Cheatin Kind" and seducing me onto the dancefloor. And Saturday afternoon spent an hour or two in the company of Chris Lalor and Bruce Doyle. Crying with laughter at their memories of misspent youth! Priceless!! The next twelve months are going to seem like an eternity.
  20. Apart from being a great record, what a brilliant set of clips etc while its playing. Top stuff!!
  21. If you don't mind paying his prices, have a look at Rare Northern Soul. There was a performers on there.
  22. Much tougher then the Mean Green copies.
  23. Thought the Blues and Souls would have gone. Very cheap and like you said, great read. £2 each. Not too much more then you would have paid in 72!
  24. Mark Speakman from Funky Feet records played a Wand at Hitsville a couple of years ago. Mmm nice!
