  10. I was going to send flowers but a donation seems more practical. can't find the details anywhere, help please?
  11. Not my sort of record but Ral Donner "Don't let it slip away". Marva Jones "I got your number" played by Pep as I remember.
  12. My God. Just saw something on Facebook, thought it was a spelling mistake. Known Tony since mid 70's, a true Soul brother and collector. RIP seems so inadequate!
  13. The copy on JM's auction went for around three hundred pounds.
  14. Sorry Rod. I don't normally comment on sales, preferring to keep my nose out but having an interest in this record I wanted some background. Did'nt realise it should have been in LAYB. To be fair to the seller, he's just pm'd me with the background to his acquiring this record and it sounds kosher. Thanks to you too Hammy.
  15. This is a record I've always wanted. However, wasn't there a thread on here recently asking if some copies had surfaced. Also I'm sure a pal of mine who has had it years has a yellow copy. Any ideas?
  16. I really hope it works for you mate, but I've got a feeling Swindon will be like Reading. Northern Soulless.
  17. I pm'd you on Bridge as well.

    45's Sales

    The Formations sold at £175???
  19. I suppose its nothing to do with all that beer you guzzled at Oxford! Seriously mate, get well soon.
  20. Not surprised at that price.
  21. pm'd you
  22. I'm afraid I'm with Pete. For me the acid test of a great record is can you sing along/whistle/remember the lyrics or tune, after the first hearing or two. I'm afraid so much of the stuff I hear on here fetching good money is nondescript at best. How many of today's records are instantaneous? But each to their own.
