Speaking through experience they will be lucky to break even at £22 a ticket know matter where it's at in this country. In fact i would go as far to say they will lose money. Venue/doorstaff hire, PA equipment hire, Band cost including a days rehersal before hand, Backing singers, Artist and Agents fee, plus travel cost from the USA, hotels, food and so on.

Hi Pete. I said the same thing in an earlier post, it's double standards mate. Some of the Top Dj's with the big ticket records that do all the moaning about people playing boots dont mind selling boots to people. You only have to look in the sales section on here and theres loads of boot forsale.

It's all double standards really !!!!!!! We should shoot the the bootleggers but what about the dealers on here who sell them, why are they not challenged ?

As some of you know i.m into classic cars and owning a 1972 Triumph 2000 Rally Car. Anyway the following statement was put up on The Club Triumph website asking for help. Dear Sir / Madam, I am an art director for a film due to shoot 15th July - 25 August 2012. The film is set in Manchester and centres around some young people involved in the Northern Soul dance scene - and that is also the name of the film. It is a very low-budget British film but has attracted some interesting names such as Steve Cougan. My job is to try to find cars or vans from the 60's or 70's (up to 1976). We are looking for a number of vehicles so would be interested in hearing from anyone with a car they might be willing to bring along for a day or two of filming. Sadly there is very little money available to pay people (£100 per day) but we will pay fuel costs. It will be great fun though! Thats why I am involved!
