Unfortunately Chris Stukenbrock (Germany) has had to make the tough decision to cancel his travel plans for The Federal Club this weekend. The Covid situation has escalated rapidly in Austria and The Netherlands over the last week or so, as the situation spreads to Germany it would be crazy for Chris to risk a 10 day quarantine in The UK for a messy weekend in Crewe. We will re-book Chris for a later date, when things have improved, and will extend Andrew Flynn (Ireland) and Michael Hawkins (Manchester) earlier sets into the evening to fill the gap.

Tonite Folks !!!! Please help Crewe Soul Club raise much needed funds for the Crosville, it's much more than a Working Mens Club, it's a community centre hosting events for Pensioners and Children during the day that are loss making, by attending tonite and paying the small fee of £3 pounds on the door helps towards continued support of these events, All Dj's tonite are giving there sevices for free, ensuring all proseeds go to this fundraiser. Best Regards, Crewe Soul Club xx

More info on Joe Dutton's funeral... We are expecting a very high turnout of people to pay their respects to Joe on Thursday. Considering this, we have made the decision to not provide a buffet at the wake. I would suggest that you make your own arrangements. There are some options within walking distance of the wake but my advice would be to pick up a bite to eat on the journey from the service. ... I would be grateful if folks could share this post to ensure the information is out there. Please can someone add this to the Soul Source forum too. Thanks Shane

The message below is from Joe's sister who is not a member on here. Hello everyone, I just wanted to come along and thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of support and kind words we've had over the last 48 hours. On behalf of our family I want people to know that every single message means so much to us. I'll keep everyone updated with regards to Joe's service/memorial when we know more ourselves. If there's anyone here on Soul Source could you please extend our thanks there, too? Thank you so much again, it's lovely knowing that everyone else loved him as much as we did. Amy (Joe's little sister) xxx

Just Gutted to lose someone so young and someone who lived life to the Max. Joe was always life and soul of the party and the host with the most. On our trips to Sheffield Joe was always game for having an afternoon session in the Fat Cat on the real Ale with Mace, Johnny Beggs and myself, and would laugh at the fact that we were 4 fat cats having a drink in The Fat Cat. Oh I will miss that so much. God bless you and your Family and am sure there will be a pint waiting for you through the gates. Rest in Peace mate. Brav

Customs Value and Royal Mail Insured Value are 2 altogether different things. Ie:- If I send for example a new mobile phone to a relative in the USA as a birthday present, I would tick on the customs declaration form (Gift) and write down it has no commercial value, (because it’s a gift) But when I post it with Royal mail I tell them that the item is worth £500 and want it insured for that price. If it does get damaged I would be eligible for a full value refund despite it saying no commercial value on the customs declaration form. Hope this helps

Brav replied to Chris L's topic in General Sales & Wants
Hi Chris. Didn't realise the brake servo was involved, anyway not sure what the thread is on the banjo but you could try one of these and run it to the servo. https://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID600173 Please note what ever you do it must have a non return valve in it Brav -
A Million To One Chance Some Us Triumph Trp Carb Manifold Parts
Brav replied to Chris L's topic in General Sales & Wants
Hi Chris. The chances of getting one new are nil I believe but there is a get around with it. The Vacuum retard was only used at tickover to lower emission for the north American market at tickover only. as soon as you drive off the advance curve in the distributor takes over. I know people have blocked off the hole in the inlet manifold where the banjo bolt fits and adjusted the tickover higher or set the timing to 12 degree instead of 8. Hope this helps. Brav
