  1. RARE Northern Soul 45 Paul Winley Creations "I Wanna Talk To You" "LISTEN" Winning bid: US $1,324.00 Bloody hell !!!! When did this shoot up in price ?
  2. Haha surprised you had that going on in your mind Pete
  3. & rightly so, a great record & a good price ........... or is it just the Jimmy Astor release that goes for more ?
  4. Yes a pressing fault, I thought it was all copies but obviously not. I was sent a copy once "on approval" & the fault is slight but noticeable. I don't know maybe if you played it out people wouldn't notice but I knew it was there so it went back shame cause i love it !
  5. He has Ray, it's on the line underneath
  6. A great record & i actually thought around £100 these days If Pete says £75 than i'm inclined to believe that I'm right
  7. Robert Thomas Salvation Charay (Original yellow of course ) Mint minus £170 includes next day insured postage to UK Cheque or paypal friends & family please or buyer pays fees Please pm if interested Thanks for looking Dave
  8. Imagine discovering any of the big sounds now ? I remember hearing & buying at Cheapos Cheapos on the same day '74/75 Alice Clark you hit me & Cindy Scott i love you baby & not long after Christine Cooper Heartaches away. Talk about blew my socks off. Oh just to hear something new of that quality today mind you being able to dance to those three with these old legs of mine now is a different story Oh all boots of course but what did i know then ?????
  9. Really ? At VG- ? maybe I'm way out on prices but i would have thought Mint - at that price ?
  10. I have a TMG Frank Wilson with a Sweeter as the days go by label on both sides. apparently as rare as the Soul copy & worth just as much but will take near offers
  11. Hi Sean, I was actually referring to the times 8pm - 1pm Should get it up on as many "sites" as possible mate. I never even knew there was a memorial page for Ben atb
  12. Blimey that's what I call an all-niter Sean, I'll be there. Is this up on Facebook Mate ? I've just posted it on Solid Hit page
  13. Best for me (not difficult as i bought less than a handful) was Danny Lee ( Think this is actually Dan Penn) Stop calling me baby UA $50 Only heard it this year, had to get one but was initially put off by the price but eventually found this one
  14. Still got it John (hope you're well mate) & it's not something you see for sale much so it would just be a guess & as i'm notoriously wrong with my estimates i won't bother. Last time i saw one for sale was quite a few years back & it was £5/600, wouldn't be surprised if it was double that now. Got mine late 70s/ early 80s from manship described as unknown £10
  15. Just a thing called love has the same backing track to another tune, can anyone help with what it is. Pretty sure that I have the thing which makes it even worse :-) Thanks
  16. "No cheap plastic or flimsy cardboard either!" From the pictures they look to have a plastic / thin vinyl finish ? These are the ultimate wooden cases for all serious 7" record collectors. "Ultimate"? They look pretty thin, anybody wanting the ultimate wooden case you need to contact Nick Brown
  17. As I mentioned earlier Aubrey Twins ? Ok one example but he must have come across the picture sleeves in all his years of digging Just saying
  18. Beat me to it, was going to say listen to you tube & spend £150 on a cheap woman, decent booze & waste the rest
  19. it said the same when advertising Aubrey Twins Poor Boy ............ despite there being a picture sleeve of two young black guys. Don't forget he doesn't write all of the sales blurb but if you didn't know for sure you wouldn't mention it would you ? & I have no idea re Lee David never having owned a copy & only hearing it when out which isn't always the best of time to form opinions
  20. Her family are certainly aware, this was posted on you tube for Believe Me Lance Campbell5 years ago This is my mother singing this song! She sounds great here but her voice has gotten even better over the years! Thanks for posting! I can't find it now but Linda also posted in comments for one of the singles in reply to Jim Reeves the engineers post on you tube. jim said that he still had her autographed copy of She went away + a copy of believe me & they exchanged a couple of messages but only Jims original post remains for some reason. Having said that I've only had a quick search,(I'm at work) it may be a thread on a flip side ? both tremendous sounds, always hammered Believe me at Solid Hit
  21. The Singing Dentist
  22. The Wanderers, what an absolutely fantastic tune
  23. Sorry Phil, just realised yours is a demo, maybe manships was as well ? cheers
  24. I was looking to sell mine (still am when I can get around to it) I'm sure that manship had it for £400 a few months back & it's not on his site anymore but can't believe somebody would pay that for it I reckon around £125 - £150 but these days who knows ?
  25. I'm good John thanks & yes totally tongue in cheek .....it's 125 to you I've not been to the 100 Club, in fact haven't been anywhere since Feb & the Last Solid Hit. Not a conscious decision & i certainly will get back to the 100 club but Soul night wise there doesn't seem much on these days or it's too difficult getting home from. (Guess I'm just getting old ) Think I'd better make more of an effort in 2017 ! All best mate
