This is what these hypocrites quote isn't it? I used to have it on original, I used to be a big name, & they seem to think that it gives them some right to play carvers & boots..... & there are some names doing it ! One very important mover from the 80s was booked to play a nighter in the midlands a couple of years ago & turned up & bought his play list from the record bar on boots & 7s. I'm not going to name any names but there's one on this thread who used to say OVO & then went through a phase of suggesting that "really it was all about the music, not the labels" (perhaps he had been selling his big money stuff?) & now seems to be back on the OVO stance. (on this thread anyway ) have fun

From memory I think the signs were male & non male weren't they ? all very worrying ...but yes certainly remember the mirrored urinal..........had a nice line in ceiling tiles from memory "As the northerner soulers arrived, with moustaches, tattoo's and singlets they bumped into the regulars.... also sporting singlets, tattoos and moustaches. Confusion reigned by all accounts!" Funny story & long time ago but sure it was a sunday alldayer & there wasn't a "normal" clientelle there, mind you the bar staff more than made up for it.... moustache a go go !

Great cheapie but it's been played since about '71 (at least).........doesn't make it a bad sound of course but is there anyone that doesn't know it ?
