Not got one (I have the UK made Loricraft - easier, better, and a hell of a lot quieter imo). You need to look at the unit. It should show a wattage rating or a current rating in Amps. The wattage is then voltage times Amps, eg. 110*Amps. Then make sure your transformer is above this value. Hope that helps.

Well are we talking 45s or LPs? If it is a 7", then on average the run in starts at approx 2.5mm from the edge, giving a starting radius from the centre of 85mm. The runout finishes at approx 8mm from the label, giving the radius at this point of 55mm. Using the formula for the circumference of c=Pi*(2*radius) we find that the starting circumference is 534mm and the end circumference 346mm. For a record with an rpm of 45, and a nominal length of 3 minutes, then there would be 3*45=135 revolutions per track. Based on the *average circumference of (534+346)/2 = 440mm then the length of the groove if stretched out would be 440mm*135=59,400mm (59.4metres) or in old money 194' 10'' and a bit. I hereby hang my anorak back on its peg!!!!

He did an excellent LP on MGM in 1965 called "Fiddler on the roof goes latin" (which is funky latin versions of tracks from the musical "Fiddler on the roof"!). Strange idea, but it's works.

No it never did. The LP did come out on double vinyl though.

There are plenty of 2nd hand record stores in Rio. Don't have the addresses, but when I was there, a quick look at the local version of the yellow pages (if you are in a hotel they will have one), will give you places to go. I remember there are 3 or 4 just 5 minutes off the Copacabana beach (in safe areas).

Wel it's not strictly a reissue as the LPs don't contain the same tracks. Strangely enough, the "Just a man" LP has sold on evilbay a few times at less than $100 lately. So what's the next big modern soul track from a reggae LP going to be Paul?

Released on Gamble/Huff's Philly label. Gamble G-202 "Do you"/"So sweet, so fine". Not the rarest Gamble side, but can be a bit tricky to track down. The Knights & Arthur was actually a pseudonym for Ben Krause, the co-writer of both sides with kenny Gamble. Ben Krause also recorded using the name B.K.Marcus, and had another release on Gamble under that name G-4012 "Does she care about me"/"Hippie of the city".
