  20. Wonderful record, certainly deserves its time , one i would not part with
  21. Sorry to butt in on this mutual adulation session, Richard was certainly the man at Wigan, but then he had access to all the big records via John Anderson at the time and compared to Winstanley, any DJ would have shone Gary Rushbrooke was as good Butch blows him away and has had to work much harder for his records Since then he has been ok but in modern terms not a patch on Bob Jones or Mike Stephens. Dean Johnson was always a better DJ at Parkers. So full respect to Richard but the adulation is and has always been over the top . Peace be with you
  22. Hi I'm pretty sure I have the perfections 7" whats the current price amongst fair minded people ?
  23. i think that there is loads of good music about if you choose to open your minds to it, just picked up a 12" by leah mc rae caled your love ( gwen's daughter) really nice soul track , loads better than that underporduced shite that roberts has recently put out like standing on solid ground etc
  24. Here are a couple of things worth a spin Garland Green " I cant believe you quit me " on us Uni The Harvey Laverne Band " Struttin Slow" on US Uptite ( play it at +4) and in the vein of a wicked modern type tune with squelchy basslines Vikter Duplaix " I see the sun"
  25. Yesterday , i pulled out "Loletta" by Loletta Holoway , haven't played it for years but if you have a copy dig it out , top quality from start to finish every track is a winner and the version of "we did it" on there certainly deserves a spin at yer local soul night. Does anyone else have any recommendations ?
