Anyone interested in some PA .. very cheap? A mate of mine who used to run soul nights has decided to give it all up... sold his records, etc and wants nothing more to do with it. Cost 1p short of £1300 .00 new 2 X 300watt IDEXspeakers ....... cost £ 230.00 new 1 X Yamaha P5000S pro series amp Cost £ 460 .00 new 2 X Citronic Direct Drive Pro Drive Turntables Cost 150.00 each Microphones inc 1x wireless pro , headphones , bag of speaker leads ( each one costs about £25.00 ) 1 X Stanton Direct Drive turntable as backup/spare Bag of Head Carts and new spares .... almost sure that there is a pair of Ortofon Concorde Carts in there and they are £100 .00 new. But. .......... to answer your question ...... No Love he came 3rd. or second runner up as they called it. ...... Beaten quite honorably by Sam Evans 2nd ...and Jane ( i think her name is ) 1st. (IMHO) ....... It was close between the first two, had it been me I may have put Sam first. The judges said that Ethan was in the first 3 on Merit not because of the aww factor. Not forgetting the number of former winners and the quality of the dancers in that comp. His Expression on yr photo and the way he waved that trophy showed what 3rd means to him. As a treat and so not to pee on his parade he was allowed to stay out late as long as he was with Tommo , Chippy , Trixter or Ricky Davies ... That is the most sensible post in the last few days.. Fair enough, people want to know what is going on, but i,m sure that the Midnight Hour team are passing on info as soon as they know it. The story about someone being shot was pure fiction. I witnessed personally the incident where the blood in the cloakroom had come from.........., A Well known local thief Robin S***** Who having been caught going through bags. Had the living shit kicked out of him by a group of Bolton, Farnworth and Leigh " Faces " In the cloakroom, after which the police were called and the cloakroom closed. Although not as romantic a tale as someone being shot ... there was a lot of it all over the cloakroom.... and it sure caused a wave of paranoia seeing police in an all nighter so soon after the episode of stopping coaches on the way to the Torch I think Richard Hillel may be able to confirm the names of the vigilantes as i know he was there also that night in his dads lwb Landrover. The Reason that there were so many locked out was pure logistics .... Please Imberboy are you prepared to answer the questions that have been asked of you.... in this thread that you started.? But most of all will you answer the question " Why resort to technically snitching on Ethan to the venue owners" instead of having a word With Me ??? What did you have to gain? Could it have had something to do with a promoter friend of yours, Planning an all nighter on the same Date as the Horwich all nighter........ that I was helping to promote ?
