Thanks for your replys guys and the 2 pms sent, I'm seeing the solicitor later so I will have a better idea of costs. If anyone has been a victim and wants to join and pay some of the costs thats fine, but I dont really want to burden the site members with contributions but thanks greatly for the offers, I can run the cost through my company as a legitimate business expense. Thanks so much for your support. Cheers Darren

This guy has done me for £1400 for Mr soul - on Genuine which I sold him back in May. I know this guy has been mentioned on here before but unfortunatley for me I didn't see it until things started to go wrong. As a dealer ofcourse I took all the necessary precautions to protect myself but he has managed to put one past me and the card company. Anyway i'm going to take him through the courts which is going to cost me at least double what he owes but FFS someone has to stop this bloody scum. Anyone else had problems with this conman lets hear it. Heres his details Mehdi Dizerens 10 Rue de smyrne Marseille, 13005 Bouches du rhone, France Oh and I've also stuck this on ebay https://cgi.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MESELX:IT Cheers Darren

Hi all Here's this month's first batch of new arrivals and some very nice pieces there are. Thanks to all who made offers and bought records this week, we had a lot of interest on the Tranells, Brooks Brothers and The Trends and a few other biggies we brought to you earlier this week. These records were sold on commission for a client who took advantage of our very generous 10% commission including fees option we advertised a couple of weeks back. Without wanting to blow our own trumpet to loud we sold all of these records within four hours of them arriving on my desk and achieved very very good prices. Needless to say our clients were very happy. The fee of 10% is fixed and is open to all, although the one caveat is that the record has to be worth at least £300 to £400 minimum. Obviously we can't guarantee we will always be able to turn the records around as quick as that that'll always be determined by other factors but if you're looking for a fairer deal when selling your rare 45s drop me a line to discuss in more detail. Heres the new ones for this week. Bill Brandon - Whatever I Am - Moonsong Issue
Raresoul45s replied to Raresoul45s's topic in Look At Your Box
Thanks for that I just mentioned it to another guy on the phone and he said pretty much the same as you although he did say it was a bit harder. I must have sold 3 or 4 copies of this and seen loads out and about which all seemed to be white, but as my wife has just pointed out I am colour blind. Thanks Darren -
This is for all you fonts of knowledge out there, I'm looking for a bit of help regarding price with this one. I've got a copy of Bill Brandon - Whatever I Am - Moonsong Issue, just come in and I'm wondering what price to stick on it. Does anyone know how rare it is as I've only ever seen demo's of this before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Darren.

Lynn Terry at $3700 seems a little high, although rare it dont do it for me. Anyway back to Frank Bev I sold a copy about 3 wks back which was up for offers it went for £2000 in the end and I had two other people willing to pay very close to that as well and actually from some of the feed back I got after I announced it as sold, was that the other two might have wished they'd bid a little higher. In this case I selling what had to be probably the finest copy around I'm not sure it had ever been played until I did the sound file and condition is what drove this one up to £2k. As someone quite rightly mentioned its appeal is its a classic double sider which although does turn up demand still exceeds supply for good copies. She kissed me is also quite hard but no where near as rare as BOMH and is available on east and west coast labels. Cheers Darren

Pete I saw that one myself and had a little snipe on it, the only thing that put me off was the surface noise mentioned. I did ask for more info but I never heard back although in fairness it was a bit last minute that I saw it. I agree though if it plays ok you have a real trophy piece its very very rare, and a great Bay area 45. Cheers Darren

Dana Valery, You Don't Know Where Your Interest Lies
Raresoul45s replied to Suinoz's topic in Look At Your Box
Pete I've had a boot of the red original issue on a inferior quality label and slightly lighter in colour it may be what Nige Brown was on about earlier someone sticking a label over the top of a pussy cat release. I think it might be here somewhere if it is I'll scan it up. Cheers Darren , -

Tony Original is slightly lighter label than the boot I dont have a original here to give you the matrix details but I'm sure someone will have them. Written by Paul Simon and not Van McCoy I got told is that true? anyone. ATB Darren -
