Oh dear ...is this what was classed as typical wigan tunes???? ( the ones posted up for listening) I'm afraid to say I didnt like any of them they were all a bit.......well cheesy...and haven't stood the test of time Peggy March tho .... And I too live in Notts ( it's big place you know) I feel the need to stick up for our county I dont wear a circle skirt anymore I wear whats comfy to me usually modern styled clothing (usually soaked in sweat by the end of the night) folks can wear what the hell they want so long as they're enjoying what they do I do dance to my chosen oldies genre of music this is why I choose oldies playing venues I make no apoloiges fior this We have a very very varied scene in notts there are oldies venues ... Im sure there are elsewhere too ..stoke for one! We have modern venues and across the board venues rarities venues and also a very good underplayed n/s venue that attracts folks from all over the country back on topic Let the boy do what ever "he feels" to what ever music he enjoys I thought that your own interpretation is what we all do when we hit the floor to a n/s tune Peace out!!

I loved this movie too (must watch it again very soon to refresh my memory) I think it showed a true irony at the end that life isnt just what you do at the weekend (soul people take note ) Jimmy was very disillusioned at seeing Aceface in his bellboys uniform kissing a** at work when he was such a hard git on the weekends I will go see anything N/S related and judge for myself I did love Steve Catos "short" Function at the junction should have lengthened that to a film altho I remember the TV film with reece dinsdale and thought it was Cr*p Would love to be an extra even if they only showed my dancing feet as a "stunt double" LOLOL .....as seen on youtube Mand

I was at a function and some drunk on the dancefloor was spinning and pulled the grip holing my hair in place clean out and sent it across the dancefloor where I had to go search for it amongst the dancing legs!
