Thanks Mrs Maine for putting me on to this I ve just come across the soul stirrers and they got an infleuncial mention thru Bobby Bland I have a lot of simply red cds but still think their earlier work is more gritty "moneys too tight " days I cant stand mick hucknall tho and I knew he'd get his nose in somewhere to due the release of tribute to bobby bland cd last year dunno if anyone else noticed when Bobby was talking to MH he had no clue who he was he said something like "have you done some recording yourself?"

Clues for Kev to Mand spotting 1.I will be the lady taking the silverware and the prize money ( tongue firmly in cheek) 2.I shall be wearing a shirt with my name on ...strange cos no one has recognized me when I do wear it LOL 3.I will be with a tall chap who blocks out my sun 4.I will be dancing for the vast majorty of the day unless someone plays a shite record I dont like 5.I will be avoiding all flash photography 6.I will change outfits half way thru 7.I will be bathed in sweat and dish out sweaty kisses on cheeks to folks who then wipe it off and say eugh!! 8. I shall keep walking into things and squinting cos I dont wear my spex while dancing 9.I won't look like I did at the start of the day hope you spot me and say hello or shout for me and I will wave If all else fails LOL

I dunno Rob ..I used to ice skate at sutton centre or roller skate at the dukeries ( where I used to work) every saturday I can't do nighters (family commitments)
