Yes yes yes yes!!!!! Looking closely at the packaging again I see there is a postal frank/mark quite clearly stating 20.04, Ralf said he posted it on the 22.04.... I think this just about sums all this up....

Here we go again.....as the address was illegible i wanted you to confirm that it was the right address after i tried to decipher it...this you never did....would you send a package to an address that you were not sure was correct? Well...I guess I just put this down to experience as I am getting nowhere at all here...Rod, I can assure you I have bought through Soul Source many many times very happily and I am willing to send you the package and see if you can work out the address 100% mate.... Also thinking about it....I have sent stuff to Belgium and it has arrived in 2 days so why would it take longer to get from a very efficient postal service in Germany to the UK?? Anyway... FOR SALE... a 'repro' Eddie Parker - Love You Baby - Archer 1A £15 Doesn't like to be delivered too quickly and it will definitley arrive as a 'repro' unless it changes to an 'original' en route....

Right thanks Marc....I sent you and Ralf an email with what I thought was the address on the package, no one ever replied to me to confirm this was the address... I had no reply... Why could you not just send the address in the email?? Look, why would I buy this record as you are saying and then send you a repro back? Anyone who knows me knows that I would NEVER do, or even think about, doing that.... I have the package still here, and alas the record, and I say again that I received the record when I did and the record was the repro.....Why would I come onto Soul Source and do all this if I had bought a bargain 'original' from you??? Don't you think I would just zip it at that stage and be happy??? We are just going in circles here.....I have a repro record that you sent me as an original....Plain and simple...I have 'erred' on the side of you not knowing it was the repro until now but now you say you have Manship's 5th edition then I am 'erring' to you knowing from the word go that the record you sent me was the repro as you would have seen that it has the 'staggered small ARCHER stamp on it...Please also tell the German Postal Service to not deliver so quickly next time...

Yet again.....How can I be in the wrong for receiving a record in that time scale?? What am I supposed to do about the 'speedy' time it took to be delivered?? I can guarantee what I am saying is 100% facts and I did not want it to come to this but what else can I do?? If I was to send the record back surely then you would know it was the one you sent as you know an 'original' when you see one??? Oh yes...I do not have the address STILL as the address is STILL illegible on the original package....Right I will try once more, please can I have the address to send it back to for a full refund? As I say surely then you will then see it was the record you sent me??? Why would I lie here? Just PM me or email me and let's just draw a line under the matter.... What would anyone else do if this happened to them??? Perhaps you do not have Manship's latest book with the definition of the original/repro etc? Well as I say I accept that but take John Manship's facts...

Nev, cheers for posting that....It appears that Ralf is a very very old friend of Marc's who is 'always very fussy about condition' but obvioulsy not fussy about selling a repro as an original and then not fussy about me returning it to him for a refund (and that's me giving him and Marc the benefit of the doubt and assuming Ralf genuinely believes that it was the original)....This could have been resolved so easily but alas it has come to naming and shaming....

Eddie Parker - Love You Baby ASFORD 1A £15 This is the 'repro' with the 'small staggered type set ARCHER stamped matrix in the deadwax'... Now....The story is I was sold this as an 'original' by MARC FORREST on behalf of his 'friend' RALF FEIGE on Soul Source....I specifically asked if it had the 'large raised ARCHER in the deadwax' and I was told it had so I went ahead with the purchase.....Well, somewhere between Germany and here it miraculously changed to the repro....I have tried countless times to contact RALF FEIGE to return it for a refund to no avail....Make your own conclusions please genuine Northern Soul people out there.... Yes fully agree....PLEASE, if you are selling records as 'originals' please make sure they are 'original' and not second issues....You know who you are....

well marc if you want to discuss here....tell 'your friend' to reply to my emails then with an address to send it back to for a full refund and also tell german postmen not to be so thorough and deliver records so soon....i have done nothing wrong here.....i order a record which you tell me is an original, when i clearly ask if this is the large ARCHER when it has not and i send money promptly and i get the record delivered quickly (my mistake too obviously) and get a repro.....i must be in the wrong here then!!?? ahhhhh NO!

it seems strange that between germany and the uk the ARCHER has become staggered just like in the previous scans.....

thanks for the defining answer richard......the guy who sold it to me please take heed......no hard feelings, i just want to return it to you and get a refund....plain and simple....

Hi there, to clarify a dispute regarding a purchase of this I made, can anyone please confirm that the vinyl 'repro' has the ARCHER slightly staggered in the run out and is smaller than on the original ARCHER ?? I bought one that was advertised as the original and this is what I was sent and the seller won't have it that this is the 'repro'... Thanks for your time soulies....
