    I got into the Northern scene around the age of 17, First Nighters were Upthejunction Crewe and The Torch. For my sins I never went to Wigan, I was off the scene married with children by then. I've been back on the scene around 17 years now and must admit it's starting to lose it's charm a bit for me, too much politics, too many mediocre events, too much fighting and backbiting.
