    I agree, for me there's a great deal of fun to be had scouring the earth for underplayed/under valued gems since I've started collecting again in the last year. The Emotions is a good example of this (even though I've had it for years). gary

    Great thread! I don't get out much so I 'm not really up on what's current and what's not but this thread appealed to me as i had a sit in the room and play records afternoon. The following were spun for the first time in ages. They sounded great ....to me at least and as good as the last time I played them, which was a while ago.     In a hash bar/cafe in Amsterdam (drinking beer) when Lou Rawls 'See you when I get there' came on the screen complete with cheesy video. Not really Northern but looking around me at the various space cadets i couldn't help thinking "How apt!"
