  2. if memory serves me right, I thought tommy hunt was supposed to be on but he cancelled so on stage they had the two guys who wrote loving on the loosing side. never forget it cos the bloke next to me shouted- it wasnt that good- when they were introduced, many laughed.

  10. sad news indeed. I was lucky enough to see byron lee & the dragonaires live twice at the wyndham in kingston whilst working in jamaica in 89. as a live act they really were superb and boy, could they get an audience up dancing.
  11. I have this copy, the number 2 on the stamp appears to be less pronounced as in your copy, I always thought it was a boot as I only paid £8 for it if I remember correctly

  19. pete, you are correct about reddingtons, right rip off merchants they were, I remember seeing bella dellena- the markettes pinned on the wall for £30 on brit WB in 77 !!!! and I was in there one saturday about 77-78 when this lady came in wanting to buy abrham martin john - marvin, the guy pulls out a tmg in good nick and asks £12 for it!! believe they closed down a few years ago, no chuffin surprise there.
