  12. i used to buy records from GW at the oasis in the mid 70`s. used to get all the latest pressings for 85p.
  13. quite strange really the anti vibes about two people dancing together, most of the music played at soul clubs is to do with the love felt between two people, and what a better way to show your feelings than dancing closely with someone you love. Well me and the other half always have at least one dance close together at any soul night, really cant see a problem with it. what ever happened to romance?

  19. I have, over the last 10 years or so, had a great time asking just about every dj to play ruby winters-like a yoyo. The usual reply is after a couple of seconds in thought ,"thats a great sound, but I dont have it with me". I must have asked easily a 100 dj`s for this, and the winners were, (those who actually had the disc with them and played it ) mark f. bedworth + nuneaton steve banbury ? at the wheel (well it would get spun there, wouldn`t it) I`ve stopped doing it now as I`m fed up with the dissapointment but when it was played always got people on the floor
