  3. You can't really want us to name every soul club in Britian, but i reckon there must be 50 - 60 or more

Use to love the Locarno, big crowd from Banbury as usual as Garv will tell you, great times, got some great records there in the day, use to take 10 minutes to get to the dance floor from the entrance, use to go there in 76, 77 bit earlier then you matt as a 18-19 year old and it always seem to be full, it did die down a bit in later years dancing compitions were good, some great dancers there then I remember one day in particular, they let a skinhead in, no interest in the music at all, he was going around beating everyone up, and whats worse was he was wearing a Aston Villa shirt, lol, and Craig a guy we use to go with hit him once and he was spark out and the bouncers carried him out and chucked him on the steps outside Great times Steve

  9. Hi Tabs, got mine about 5 years ago just as we started banbury soul club up, it was a fiver and a minter, I can't believe its goes for that amount, more money than sense IMO, I would think no more than £20 and thats being generous ATB Steve

Hi Malc, In the record collector rare price guide it says - 631 is 'I turned you on' / 'I know who you been socking it to' they had a earlier release on 621 which is 'It's your thing' / Don't give it away' it's the same in John Manships rare price guide too Strange to say the least, maybe it's a real rarity??? steve
