cant see that though mate honestly how many djs turn up well before there set and stay till the end of the night i know a lot travel a fair way so i can under stand that but local djs no way no excuse most are booked way in advance so they sort things out knowing that they djing that night

my first time was at a place in stapleford Nottingham went with my brother who,s mate was running a night to be honest we only went on the pull it was so long ago cant remember what i heard but it won me over straight away the bad point about it was i didn't pull but me brother did god rest his sole. i remember the venue car fasteners i think

look at the end of the day any djs worth his salt arrives at least a hour before his set to many arrive 5 mins before and leave 5 mins after there set not on """""""""""

by the way by saying what i have said earlier in the post by know means mean this to be a lot of djs just a few of them most of them play cracking spots

well here goes!!!!!!!!!! i think a few dj feel it is there god given right to arrive 5 mins before there set to be honest they dont give a f**k they think they own the joint charge top whack as well . i went a place a couple of months ago and the top well know dj played his 3 opening tracks which had been played in the last spot i told him this and his reply was they wont remember it never fased him wasnt botherd after all he was still gonna get his money so hey ho off you go. sorry to be a moaning old git but i dont give a s**T enoughs enough why should the paying punters put up with it come on you know who you are get there early and lisern please ....... sorry to rant but you asked lol

i get mine from maplins take old belt down and they match it up also needles from them to . my experience of ebay is not good needles are ok but as for belts id steer clear of them i brought at least four that said they would work but didnt but good look my player is a 1970 ferguson and it still works a treat

well i started this thread in January and its clear to see that there a big diverse list of tunes that folk dont like (hate was a bit strong i suppose ) but it goes to show one thing is apparent does it really matter what one person hates as another may 50 love it and if the dance floor fills then it done its job including the three i have put. but we all need to understand that most of these tunes fill a floor and that what the promoter want isn't it
