    Great Dave, so its a Bobby, Bob or even a Robert from Detroit? Humm. Lynn & The Invaders is almost the same backing but with a beach bongo style song on prophonics.

    Bill Tuthill was the writer and sing of IDLTL but wouldn't sign a contract to work in the studio, Cecil did and was given the song to over vocal also to sing live at a few local gigs. He went on to produce quiet a few records on Prophonics and Coconut after that.

    All these records you mentioned and the first issue of this record were studio based recordings its the latter ad hock version I m talking about that has Clip clop beat added to the original tape. I dont think your points valid on this.

    It sounds like Please Leave Drake and The Ensolids on the backing but reminds me of stuff I have on RCA like Dangerous Town. Sorry I can't help more Russ.
