Any help on this, I don't sadly have the Holly record so how different is this acetate.
Great Dave, so its a Bobby, Bob or even a Robert from Detroit? Humm.
Lynn & The Invaders is almost the same backing but with a beach bongo style song on prophonics.
Bill Tuthill was the writer and sing of IDLTL but wouldn't sign a contract to work in the studio, Cecil did and was given the song to over vocal also to sing live at a few local gigs.
He went on to produce quiet a few records on Prophonics and Coconut after that.
All these records you mentioned and the first issue of this record were studio based recordings its the latter ad hock version I m talking about that has Clip clop beat added to the original tape.
I dont think your points valid on this.
Thought we did a count a while back and got to about 10 ish.
Cecils new record what step forward from wigan.
First play was Dave on the radio just before or at the time he started frightening us at the dome.
It sounds like Please Leave Drake and The Ensolids on the backing but reminds me of stuff I have on RCA like Dangerous Town.
Sorry I can't help more Russ.
Err! Thought the cat was out of the bag on its id so never gave it another thought. It did remind me how Baby Boy on golden world stats a bit like Blue Moon tho.
I know what you mean about the Exus Trek track like Bari Track track being the errr! Track against the vocal version. Taking of that the Thelma Hopkins !!!! what a killer version.
