There is a little mark in the deadwax and it says something like MatrixAudio but its not stamped in full.

I have seen your list on ebay and you do sell some great records. I was busy last night so I had other things to do than trall through your feedbacks to see if I was right, but yes I stand corrected its a different scan but the same song. After saying all this about styrene I have some better sounding 7s on styrene than the vinyl issue and they get better in the 70ts.

I call it Fuzz, they just seem to fuzz up, have tried a few ways to record thinking that it's energy in the disc pushing the needle out so it's not sitting in the bed of the groove. Wonder if the stamper was worn out and the kept pressing them. Unless it's a mains thing. I have wondered about this a few times whether or not it's cause is recording with 110 volts against 240 so no spikes. The UK records sound crisp and clean from the 240 volts 50 Htzs?? Still Remember The Felling has always done this to me as well and I have had an issue demo with no difference but on a tape from a guy in the US it sounds great, warm and glowing in the midband.

Original or not ?? The Pages boot is going for good money like the Tie John & The Weirdest. Oddly enough I tried to borrow one of the short issue matrix on Saturday but the guy said he thought it was a boot and sent it back.

It puts a question mark on the quality of the first press if this is the case and maybe they were withdraw due to this lack in volume. I have put a sound clip up of the long matrix but it's is in Mono from Refosoul so no direct comparison as yet. It all sounds a bit The Pages to me. I have played the record out 2 or 3 times now and re the sound issue I have not had to adjust the mixer volume up from the last record I played on that deck ???? Unless you can compare both copies back to back this makes no sense every record has a different volume especially 70ts stereo they seem to be half the volume of a good mono 60ts record

I hope it charts for him, I don't begrudge him from trying to make a living from his music in 2008 he's been doing it for many years, it's just as good as a Fatboy Slim take of the music and the music is original backing as against anything generated in a PC.
