  1. I have to agree with Dave, Pinch, Boba, Stardom and Sebastian this all sounds very exciting but is it possible that the record was cut from the same stampers as the original, am sure that the old green thing is a flat type disc so the new reissue are more record shaped and taper at the edge with no run in groove (well not enough to put the needle on the record and get back to your arm chair without missing half the record) unless someone has done a comparison and it is the same stamp.
  2. I remeber it being played in 79. In the 80ts it was still covered up as Luther Ingram and I thought the Nashville pressing plant closed down in the 70ts.
  3. Is this in response to soul sales or to general record sales, since downloads have become more of the norm even CD sales are down.
  4. Wise World was 1960ts whereas the Number One is later if not 1970 this could also be counted into the differences in sound.
  5. Last time I listened to the Wise World I thought that they were similar and not totally the same, a difference in the mix.
  6. On this occasion they have stated reissue, I got a record the other day, paid a bit for it and its a fake. looked ok until it came in the post then the lazar copied label showed its true colours. It is against the rules of ebay to sell as said before counterfeits.
  7. Oh great I will just give my old mate Dr Who a ring and go back in time and buy the thing off him.
  8. I have seen a few 1 every 90 days turn up both palyer and Tac Ful print, 400 Uk seems to be an average price.
  9. Dead easy but not very good.
  10. A common fact that most of Bobby's records are rarities.
  11. Think I got my blue from the shop with a casino classic but that was 1978.
  12. Blue VJ is a different version so it cant be a boot and it has the instrumental version on the other side. I always saw the blue for years only in the last 12 years seen the pink an white.
  13. A load of crap they even ran out of ink so what's the quality going to be like.
  14. Its a late one for him 1970, never seen one for sale.

  23. Thanks Steve the plot thinkens. The LP! the only other way to get hold of these records other than putting your Mom,s high hells and dress on and waiting at the back door for RS leaving, was on a tape recorder live from the Casino.
