I find a lot of people I know and meet know about the music a little and Northern, when they push me after I say I collect R&B records and soul stuff, they end up getting a CD. I do find people like the stuff I collect but no one has ever come up to me and said hey what's that tune and where can I get a copy unless they are from the NS scene.

Mine is always the last tune I played that day, until something crops up like a kylie Minogue song or like last week when a girl walked passed me with her kid's singing Lost My Partner What Should I Do? think I sang that for 3 hours after that-bookin follocks.

1977 I realised my box of 1000 records were boots and UK second issues so the lot went and I started again.

Just found this radio show with Mark Lamarr and Karime Kendra & The Killer Meters but they are playing all the family tunes.

Could these be UK records for export. I have Begging on this and its a great recording and not the same mix as the Decca's.

Paid 40 for my stock M copy last year lucky I thought cause the US demo has been going for 40 as well.
