  1. You seem to think it would have been a very cheap and easy task. You said it not me I don't wish to know your business or if it was mine company see discussed on the internet. You seem to be contradicting your self now. Move on mate do you know any thing about the Mecca to tell us.
  2. As I say mate if you read through what's been said this is the only conclusion one can come up with, I don't care to what to know your business but when its bandied about on the internet one can't help but see there are problems from the top.
  3. I read that Ebay is a world market and if it was my product instead of posting witty reply's to a potential customer I would be putting my stock on ebay for the world to buy a copy dig!
  4. I am sorry to say I am not being sarcastic but deadly serious, I work for many people I give them my word my promise that's my ivory tower, 2Mill all I hear on this thread is how you have all lost money and made no profit so no payment has gone out to the artists I don't know your business mate but from what's been posted up we can only form one conclusion. If somebody knocked on my door after 40 years after I had recorded a song asking to film me and then nothing not even to see the finished work to see how I look that's where I would tell you to get off, at the next stop. John Manship and John Anderson don't bring these two into the equation to belittle my reply you know what I mean.
  5. I have just looked for a copy of SWONS on Ebay, and nothing no wonder you have made no money and now its all remixed and re-packaged to go out again so how far are the artist of getting any money back-back to square one.
  6. Hey Paul you could buy a video recorded from the States and dubbed a few copies on your own back, I have Vietnamese bootleggers every day with video and now DVD copies of the latest film for a few quid. I really can't see any excuses for this at all, even to have asked the artist what he or she had thought of the finished work.
  7. As far as the re-recordings go - would not the original recordings have sounded similar if they had had the same recording equipment as now There is nothing wrong with the original recordings they are fine, some have master tapes that sound even better than a record can sound.
  8. That's dreadful you have tracked these people down, filmed them for nothing and they haven't seen or even have had to pay for a copy and know 10 years on you say Oh! a bit sorry. And you are still saying you are not gonna give every artist copy 10 years on. I would fook you right off. Your just as bad as the grave diggers after the box of records the artist has in the attic. How much can a video cost 10 years ago £1.00 each or £2.00 each and CD are what 0.04 p each to make.
  9. Funny laptop looks old how much memory has it got.
  10. Probably cause he was mixing the concrete shoes with his good arm, Thames and water spring to mind. Reminds me I must pay that bill.
  11. A Magician worked on a cruise ship. The audience was different each week so the magician did the same tricks over and over again. There was only one problem: the captain's parrot saw the shows each week and began to understand how the magician did every trick. Once he understood, he started shouting in the middle of the show, 'Look, it's not the same hat!' or 'Look, he's hiding the flowers under the table!' or 'Hey, why are all the cards the ace of spades?' The magician was furious but couldn't do anything. It was, after all, the captain's parrot. Then one stormy night on the Pacific, the ship unfortunately sank, drowning almost all who were on board. The magician luckily found himself on a piece of wood floating in the middle of the sea with, as fate would have it, the parrot. They stared at each other with hatred but did not utter a word. This went on for a day... and then 2 days... and then 3 days. Finally on The 4th day, the parrot could hold back no longer and said...... 'O K , I give up. Where's the f£#
  12. I now have this vision of you like Gandolf the all seeing wise one. It was years ago and internet was different slower and 80 I bet was word of mouth. I only had a few remarks passed down via the old ways about internet espionage and that was from the main contractors. Mainly what blah blah had done or said with regard to the Uno what.
  13. A Bunny boiler I never missed one Dome did you sell records their Pete or just attend.
  14. How do you know as you say you weren't there. If you had internet connection you would be able to join in the so called hate campaign but a majority of us didn't have internet access. Huurr if non of the London crowed go to Ian's club but have a club of their own to go to the night of Ian's club then why should attendances of Ian's club be down when the London crowed never went in the first place. Hurr huurrrr.
  15. Sticks and stones may break my bones. I cant get that Donna Williams track out of my heed it almost brings you to tears when I play it Hummm.
  16. Bloody hell, I bet all the clubs in London are less than 4 miles apart over 10 years I can think of 20 clubs with 50 to 300 attendances, it has a community feel to the place. A mix of people from Europe, America and all around the UK meet up and talk and dance to music they like or dislike, you can see flyers on the tables in the dimly lit rooms, pick them up to edge them into the light to get a glimse of the next step in the soul story. I remember very clearly how the Rocket promoters handed out flyers in all our clubs. I think when you say saboteurs you are referring to the wrong side, and as for the criminal damage to the flyers I am astounded you said that. To me it sounds like the Jackboots have changed camp.
  17. Yes all well and good but you can't beat a live performance you just lose so much in the recording film or sound the power and dynamics. Nice try.
  18. That's Ok I didn't want a reply, I did ask about the Donna Williams but I found it all out on you tube.
  19. What was the title on the Bobby Dobyne? Was a sound file ever put up for this I looked a few times never found it.
  20. Hurrm is Keb green and walking down a road or am I seeing things again. Hey that's very C L man.
  21. As I remember The Rocket was set up by a copper who was disgruntled with the London clubs not playing enough oldies, thought he knew better what people wanted and then asked Ian to DJ. The Dome was a different kettle of fish, you had a fresh faced promoter who had never heard of Ian Levine, when Ian asked him to be a resident DJ the young man replied yes sure do us a tape and we will call you, story goes that they got threats as well. I am sure they all can verify this to be true or not true.
