  1. Very different mix and different vocals as well think she misses something out on the single or the CD. Can't find the CD to post up a clip. Have most of the singles they are in the box marked Wand someone forgot to put Maxine back in the right CD case.
  2. I don't understand what you are saying, a record pressed off centre is a record pressed off centre that means the grooves don't line up with the circular revolutions of the spindle or spindle plug.
  3. More scans and sound clips added.
  4. So what's that you are listening to Chris just oldies As said before these are all Mod classics its the other way around Northern clutching at Mohair suites
  5. Are the raised X presses a New York thing and not West Coast?? like yaw Shrines.
  6. I wasn't sure where it was from at first but TB says Detroit, know with these three others the label is getting interesting. Any chance of a sound clip of the Infernos and Hank Johnson. I thought it would cover up as The Tonettes very well bit late now.
  7. What's on the other side of Mr Limp Instrumental version John?

  11. Yep out of sink with a strange bass.
  12. What an odd thing to say, I don't think I have ever seen somebody dance who thinks they are so vane at a soul do. Seen a few oddities at the Ritz in Manchester who thought they were cool and great but they were just plain weird
  13. I think that people entered the competition on the dance floor and then picked to go into the final so yeah not bad but as I saw weird when you hear the sound from behind the speakers and dancing in full light never helps ones soulfull flow.
  14. I always thought I was an Ok dancer, but one night at a casino anniversary my mates pushed me on the stage (go on Smivee you can win it go on) I thought if I win how will I get that stereo system home on the train. It was strange listening to the music from on the stage, all the faces peering at and you couldn't tell at first what the record was it was so echoey. Anyway I came second or third to Vernon, shown up or what The records 2 out of the 3 were Eula Cooper Let Our Love Grow and Johnny Taylor Friday Night.
  15. Was it also on that Bee Bee LP Epitome of sound was also on it I think.
  16. I only caught the Frank Wilson on JR show did he play more than that record ?.
  17. I would be embarrassed to have a load of stock like this in my back room, what if my mates came round and said hey what you got in your box LOL I could never hold my head proud again. A Sue Lyn US demo as well
  18. Ady I do find my CD buying gets a bit out of sink from not seeing Roger Stewart regularly as I use to so any chance of a link to get records direct from Ace on hear.
  19. Was it a demo? think you said you had seen more issues than the blue demo's. Must be on my 4 th copy and still never played the B-side.
  20. Teff played it out in Shorditch 2000 first time for me, sure Tony Smith will back me up on this but he probably had it knocking around for years.
  21. Its the same label practically.
  22. No its real only that San Franciscan TKOs was an unissued track.
  23. Its such a small photo I can hardly see you, interested to know what you had in the box Godzi and have you sold them. I am above you in the other picture bright yellow T shirt, I was thinking there's a bloke on the stage with a camera and it looks like he is taking a picture of us and he did. Can any one scan just sections of them, I have seen most of these pictures elsewhere so the original negatives of these shots and in black white as well are around .
  24. I have an instrumental version on Atco.
  25. I hear that it came out on a Sheridan 12 inch as well. Keep on Doin great track reminds me of Creative Source.
