  2. You could be right about that The Sammy Sevens isn't a demo after all but I have seen a black and white demo of Lucky So And So. I think you have seen this one before.
  3. Hummm nice touch with the ultras sonic 45.
  4. Yes and it also says Ultra Sonic, seen a Sammy Sevens as well on Black CrossFire. Nice Demo and black issue, I am more of a demo Swan man myself.
  5. I think the date is something too do with the record label and not individual singles. Nice atomic bomb blue and orange.
  6. I have a spare Spy M for sale, I have seen black Monarch presses of Swan records so if a black West Cost copy could be the rare version.
  7. Many thanks, I don't have your address yet.
  8. Russ, Richard, Soul Sam, Gary Rushbrooke, Pat Brady, Keith Minshull, Brian Rae and Dave Evison etc. - Respect to you all for such wonderful memories! On some nights there was only a few hundred people in so am hoping that this is a great opportunity to re-live a moment in time. A few examples are: Neil Allen, Chris Plant, Tim Ashibende, Dave Thorley, Atlas, Geoff Oakes, Dave Shaw, Waggsy, Trusser, Harpo, The twins, Rob Marriott, Vernon, Martin Maylor, Blondie, Ricky Brown, Pete French, Fletch, Tracey, Pip and the rest of the Stroud contingent. The Gloucester crowd and so many more from Worcester, Redditch, Crewe, Manchester, Scotland etc. Also the people that I didn't meet at the Casino but then met afterwards and found out they were also there, Guy, Keb, Butch, Gilly etc. Also to the wonderful soulies that we no longer see around Dave Alcock, Pete Lawson, Tommo, Mudd and others R.I.P. Anyway if you were there between 1979-1981 please leave a comment. Mark (Gloucester) - Don't look at the picture as I looked quite different then, like more hair, and definitely less weight

  19. Its a hard one, really you gotta have both just incase the B-sides a blinder
  20. You have nearly answered your own question hear, what if you go to see the B-team play cause your team is playing away, is it still the same buzz. If you have danced to a record for 30 years on and off and not every day would you be happy with sloppy seconds. Its also a natural progression in the NS scene, you want it all, search for that record and the realise you have bought a load of old rubbish not really worth the plastic its printed on but you pay the 10 or 40 for the reissue to have it to play. You then discover every one else has a copy and a few have a real copy that have a nice label, sound better and are a lot older than the poor quality you have. Some people collect antiques to furnish their homes and some are happy with MDF from B&Q, that could be you mate. its not a crime yet but we are working on it, look at the poor artists who never get a bean from the bootlegings of the world is that fair.
  21. Hi Lou thanks for squaring things up for us, its so long ago and no of us were there. You must have had a great time recording all these artists, how many records did you personally work on with Dore.
