    Why do you have to have harmonies, and are you sayings its a rough record or a rough recording you have listened to cause you never hear it played out. I think its perfection and sounds just like the Del-Larks.

    Hey I don't mind it Bob, I kinda like the recording more than the song but its really bugging me who it is and I know the voice. I have narrowed it down to a set of CD's and I can only find one at home the other must been at work, I think I can place the track after the singer's song.

    The first few lines of the song make me think of the singer who it could be, almost the same as the other song I have in mind but I kannie place it at the moment.

    Dick Hafer not a great dancer as Georges version more mid tempo. a cross between The Roy Hamilton orch (great backing track) the panic is on, Rufus Lumley and Don Hysong. Oh I have both for sale as well.

    I think there's 3 versions of this tune, Dick Hafner then something on Whitter?? that uses the backing. I have a George Freeman on Okeh its another version of a big tune can't recall the name. That's it You Lied, I Cried, Love Died.

    I won some great records off one guy (never seen them since) and about 6 weeks later his wife contacted me to say --------- He had died in a car accident, how said is that. I have had some quiet hard records off him and with his sound files buing blind aint a problem. He once sold some stuff on a buy it now and he had a killer killer KILLER 70ts track I have never seen before or since. A Willie Wade, Terry Callier and Cajun Heart sounding record

    I personally can't handle anything that repeats its self more than 60 X a minute and this just bores me to death and about as Northern sounding as Abba. repetitive crap.

    He is Bob and The Essences is his brother Warren. Frank sang all these songs at Cleethorpes this year when he performed with some fiends of our's doing the backing vocals and you could see why they call him Big Frank. A charming shy man with vocal chords not far off your Jimmy Ricks. I have the LP must listen to more tracks.
