  1. So are they all the same eg demo issue.
  2. I saw this the other day on an MGM, looks like a flag or section of ribbon but deteriates to two LL's opposed?? on other MGM records.
  3. Only connection I can see is that the both have a P.O. Box address for San Antonio 9334 78204 and 28123 28
  4. Hey Scott if you send me the 45 I will tell you what it is. I have PM you my address, its the best way you wouldn't want a mistake would you
  5. Thanks fella's that's it I can sing a long to the Determination know that's in me heed
  6. I have just got a copy of this on King what do you think if you know the Federal version.
  7. Just listened to this and it reminds me of a Butch or Mick Smith spin but I can't get The Parisians out of my head. ANDRE_WILLIAMS__YOU_GOT_IT___I_WANT_IT.mp3
  8. I find the record a bit sickley not in my top 1000 but if people will dance to it and pay that price good luck to em. I will wait till I can get a copy for $50 in no rush. Same bidders, I am wondering that as well unless Joe Bloggs paid 800 and wants to keep the price up. Is this his last splurt of 5 records or will he post 5 a week until he clears his passage.
  9. Do you have the technology to scan Ady.
  10. I was gonna say 40 to 75 its an up and down one, somedays I like it and others it sounds white.
  11. Humm this was only a local hit no 40 in an R&B chart for the other side Light Of Darkness don't think it had a national distribution and a lot of the labels releases were just handed out at gigs and so many things have changed in the last 40 years. But as you say these smaller labels like Expansion and SB will suffer greatley.
  12. Was expecting a Larry Davis but this is very very nice record with a great big production and no sign of Phil Orsi at all.
  13. Is this all for the main stream of music, I can't see down loading MP3 killing off the soul scene. Bet its not all doom and gloom there is still a market for music out their.
  14. R Kelly.
  15. 45, it dose sound like the Omen is a different take than the Vault. I would put one in my itunes and the other on the desk top, play them at the same time stop pause to get them running parallel and see if any thing stands out.
  16. There was no definition in the title of the thread like only issued instrumentals, so I made a frekin one up Best yet and worth a bomb.
  17. Err Robert Palmer https://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=F0U5JfGYx4c Is it me or dose Rob look like Keith Money. I have a great version of Wires (Gary Newman) by him, awesome track.
  18. I still can't find any mess, although I have found a reference to his soul brother and some awesome bass brass coming in after the sax break well not right at the end but quiet close. A great backing track well laid out with a cosy echo on the ringing guitar and a well defined bass guitar but very strange sporadic backing vocals. The edge for me is that Silus Phifer's voice its like Al Jolson, rough and ready but a velvet touch.
  19. Wasn't batman AKA Fatman with draw form legal proceeding, don't think its Morris or The Larks but the backing sounds like a Larkish tune it sounds more like The Volcanos?
  20. Mello Souls We Can Make It.
  21. For me the recording sounds live and most of the time that's what they were trying to achieve. Anyone know what the B-sides like.
  22. TOD is amateurish and most of the Stang Turbo is poor quality n' sounds like it was recorded with bake bean tins and a bit of string and I cannot even begin to compare a record I don't posses to a record I do have. Every record played sounds different so until it turns up in quantity I or we will never know.
  23. Messy. The only messy bit is the same old bad sound file that is punted around, I have listened to Kitche's copy out and its a different experience.
  24. Monarch stamped styrene copy.
