  1. First ones Pete Griffin.....keeping it real! Second one sounds like a piece o sh#t!
  2. Or if you mean Cutting a Groove HQL1 Delayline, Wendy Peddy, Hot Cuisine, Kevin Henry, Direct Drive, Marcia Mattise. Previously unreleased tracks that were produced by Kev Roberts.
  3. Don't know.....thats why I asked The catalogue number is listed on the back of Under the Streetlamp
  4. Just as the Double LP's were released, the single LP's were getting sold off through Scootering magazine for £1 a pop. 1987/88. Advertised as deleted, only to find out that the NS Lp's were in fact the same records re-marketed. There was a Vinylmania LP called Cutting the Groove featuring Soul/Funk from British artists. LPSS110? Wonder Boys? Anybody see that one?
  5. Might catch you on the 21st Joe, if yer heading down that way fella ;)
  6. I just assumed Stafford, no real reason apart from its style. Although when Colin played it...it was new to my young ears at the time. Rather hard to believe that it may have been overlooked when the likes of J J Daniels Mr Lonesome was getting a run.
  7. Great playlist, would love to be there sometime. Spoke to a couple of you fellas at Doncaster market today. Was just off the rig with a cool pint on my mind. Wish I could have chatted a bit longer. Looks right up my street on the underplayed stakes. Will need to get my backside down to the chillouts!
  8. Because he has another similar site for disco...... https://www.buydiscorecords.com/
  9. Being without you? I saw three different boots in one sales box and there is an mocked up PYE acetate going around labelled as a Ben E King track but is defo Maurice Williams, off a reputed dealer
  10. Enjoy it, let the punters enjoy it, make sure you have the tools for the job but not worn/played out tools End every record with "There we go.....1965 on *insert label here*" You could make the next dj work harder by playing their biggies before they come on , as long as they are real records tho "‹
  11. The flipside "Right now" has had some plays out also, worthy of a listen ;)
  12. Still recovering out here in North Sea and still remember a majority of the plays. I have been to some nighters recently that seemed to drag on and on. I hit the 100 Club early doors just to meet and chat, but I along with others were kept on the floor all night and the night was over before we knew it. I expected a good time and recently I feel that some places make you work at it to enjoy yourself, Saturday night was easy and comfortable, just the way I remembered the 100 Club of old. Well done to Dj's and punters, sorry we didn't drink the bar dry tho ;0)
