    The Swan copy plays so much better than BB, I'm sure there was a discussion on here a while ago about Take It Baby/In Paradise about whether the Swan or BB was the 1st issue but having both I'm possitive it must be Swan.

    That's right and it has You Ain't No Big Thing Baby on it but that's still the alternate take, I think the LP was also (re)issued on Major Minor, in fact I seem to remember reading it was the 1st LP released on Major Minor

    The UK King release is a different take, it has a hammond break mid way through and the vocal is slightly different. The Roulette version is much better IMHO. If my memory serves my right I think the Roulette release came out in 1963 and on King was 1966 . Cheers Richard

    One of my favs is Last Call by Jr Walker from the RoadRunner LP, it was also on the French EP of How Sweet It Is but otherwise an LP only track (I think?). Cheers Richard

    Hi all I've just bought a copy of Prince and Princess - Ready Steady Go/Why Won't You Take Me Serious on Bell 625 and was wondering who the hell are Prince and Princess?? The RSG side is a nice latin flavoured dancer and the WWYTMS side is a great R&B flavoured tune which sounds very much in the Ike & Tina Turner mould. Any info would be gratefully received. Cheers

    I picked up a great single sided promo copy of Spanish Maiden by Tony Middleton on Storm a few weeks ago. If you like a bit of Latin influenced stuff try Shake Your Body Girl by Larry Williams, I think it's superb cheers Richard

    Hi all I've bought a copy of Can't Stop Loving You by Robert John on Columbia demo and was wondering if anyone had any further info about the track. So far the only info I can find is from Eddy's Soul Time site (there is a soundbyte there by the way)So does anybody else out there have a copy or heard it played out anywhere?? Cheers Richard
