  1. Don't think so Ken, bought it off of a lady who lives in Leeds. Has the LP got your name on it? I'll have to dig it out
  2. Terrific tune Drifting, picked mine up for about £20 a few years ago. Believe it was also on the Kent compilation of Galaxy recordings, think it was called Black Music Is Our Business or something like that in honour of the the MIOB label (which was part of the Galaxy group) and the label Drifting is on
  3. Think it's canadian release I've got, I could be wrong though (I often am ) Mine's got the picture cover as well, nice pictures of the group I'll dig it out so you can all have a laugh
  4. I'd heard Manship shifted a couple at £50 each and they went like hot cakes (maybe even hot chocolate cakes )
  5. I've asked on here before for info on this but seeing as the subject of Volt releases has come up here goes again, anyone out there have any idea how hard is The Hawg (Part 1 & 2) by Eddie Kirk on Volt 106?. It's a great harp lead R&B instrumental, well almost an instrumental as there are a couple of shouted lyrics over the top of the mad harp wailing. Apart from a copy I got some time ago I've only ever seen one other copy that sold on ebay a month or so ago. Is it really hard to get or have I just been looking in the wrong places?? I've attached a scan (this is the one that I mentioned sold on on ebay, mine's mint). Any info would be much appreciated, ta

  11. Rbman You should try Mary Wells Shop Around, album only track from 1961, 1st LP on the Motown label Bye Bye Baby- I Don't Want To Take A Chance, quite hard to get on original white and blue label. Really great version plus it's just that little bit different to hear the female version (if you know what I mean). Also on the LP is a another album only version of I Love The Way You Love, the Marv Johnson hit. Again another splendid version. Cheers Richard
  12. Issue books in Record Collector price guide for £40 but no mention of how much for a demo or reissue. That's handy though as now I know I've got an original if boxed logo upside etc is a good un (yippee), always thought it was a reissue
  13. sitc01 Yes, I wasn't sure exactly what a demo would fetch to be honest that's why I put offers. It would be the same as all the others I've put offers wanted on, if someone makes me the right offer I'd be up for it. Ta Richard PS Martin last time I saw Lillian Offitt on a list it was £50 but that was some time ago
