    I'm much in the same position meself, me Mrs likes 60's, 70's, 80's, chart and non-chart, a bit of northern, motown etc so this type of thing would be right up her street. She'd love a night where they would play for example It's A Love Thing by The Whispers and next track play Do I Love You by Frank Wilson. I know everyone will go "Urgh" but that would appeal to her

    How about Originals of Sight And Sound - Long Boots on JJI as a contender?. There was a few of these around at one point selling for around £20 but now seem to have dried up Or how about Eugene Pitt - Every Day Is Like A Year on Beltone? quite a nice end of the night type of tune

    John Manship had one on his website for a ton and it sold straight after my aforementioned Modculture posting If you like tunes like this pop along to The Upbeat night meself and Andy Powell run in Westcliffe (someone had to get a plug in somewhere didn't they )

    I got a mint copy about 6 months ago from the States for a tenner then posted up on the Modculture website asking if anyone knew it as it sounds great, Neil Henderson from The Hideaway replied saying he was after a copy and a bit of a feeding frenzy started. Neil now has a copy and was saying it took him quite some time to get one. I'd also posted up about it on here but no-one replied. Have only heard of demo's, anyone seen an issue????

    Don't know if this will go but should be given a chance as it's very overlooked. Derrick Harriot - I Won't Cry on Blue Beat. Nice Jamaican R&B, very very soulful, has a nice dance pace and there can't be that many of them around in good nick as the words Blue Beat and mint condition don't normally go together. Also it's a b side. Personally I think it's so much better than Feel So Bad by Jackie Edwards. Please don't be put off by the fact that it's on Blue Beat as it sounds nothing like Ska. I did post this in the sound gallery on here but I don't think it's up and running again yet

    Yep, my nice Helen Troy French ep that landed in the post earlier this week sounds great turned up, no distortion, just a slightly lower level that's all. Set me back EUR200 or £130ish mint with a mint picture sleeve
