  7. Two for me Co-organised the London Save Our Soul Shack night DJ'd at Hipshaker on the Isle of Wight Scooter Rally for the 4th year running
  8. All UK dance scenes have been dance by yourself affairs. Mods danced by themselves, Skinheads, Soulboys, Soulies, Rave kids, Indie Kids and even the Heavy Metallers head bang on their own
  9. Martin get the Why Not Tonight album instead as it's got Neighbour Neighbour plus it's got his great album only version of Slippin Around (much better than Art Freeman ) https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/sounds/exists...WHY_NOT_TONIGHT

  11. I'm 99.9% sure John mentioned the First Choice was an acetate when he was auctioning my one
  12. I bought it from Voxpop in Manchester for £20, think they thought it was one of those old dodgy EMIDiscs but it wasn't
  13. Sean, it was something like £500. Cant remember exactly how much, maybe John may have a record somewhere of what it went for.
  14. Maybe like the way the price that Jeff Perry has gone up
  15. I wonder if there are any demos out there of Darryl Stewart - Name It And Claim It on Pye. I bought a Pye acetate of this a couple of years back, it was scheduled for realease but was shelved. John Manship sold it on his auction for me
  16. As said above both sides are kicking, every time I've ever played it people ask what it is - before someone says it old to some and new to others. Believe this was her rarest on Eastern. Records like this and a few others off the top of my head such as Sterling McGee - I Still Believe In You on TRC and Claude Huey - Feel Good All Over on Early Bird have been kicking around but sound so right for now so deserve a few spins
  17. Wanted Don't Look Back - Al Green LP either pm or email richardpx@hotmail.com Ta
  18. Exactly, he'll say the "the black vinyl platter of deception has lied" toot, toot
  19. Me as well, can't get to listen no matter what I do
  20. King Ernest - I Feel Alright on Barry /index.p...si&img=8649 I'd do it meself but can't even listen to these at the moment, but a good one to put up today would be Look by Tina Britt on Eastern if someone could do the honours
  21. I really like this and think it's a great tune. Tim Brown had a box or so of them a while back and was knocking then out for a tenner (think that was what I paid). Haven't seen any more for sale though since other than the one on John Manships site that has sat there for a while at a much higher price Sold mine for £40 a couple of months ago
  22. "But many may not" Does he get a little flute out and as ask the record "So tell me record are ye an original copy?" in a Little Britain stylee
