    Yes it was another part of the evolution of the scene. Now it’s just taken for granted but before the interweb only very few got to go record shopping in the States etc. and is a big reason why prices have climbed

    Funny as well, was just thinking about getting up at 2am/3am to fire up the dialup on the pc to bid on stuff on eBay before the snipe programs were about. My Mrs thought I was nuts

    Yes, real shame it went bust. Was heartbroken when it disappeared into cyberspace Also this was before the US sellers started getting copies of the price guides, that was a game changer as well

    Actually that’s another thing really affecting prices is the exchange rate, back then it was about $1.75 and now it’s about $1.20 odd

    Anyone remember GEMM the forerunner of discogs? Got so much great stuff from there. One in particular had from there was a mint Tony Middleton Spanish Maiden Storm single sided demo that was up for $10, when I bought it the seller contacted me saying he made a mistake and he was having a half price sale so refunded me $5 Early days of eBay as well there was mad bargains to be had.

    Issue or promo as long as at least ex condition, need replacement as my copy had an argument with the floor and came off the worse for wear. Hope someone has a spare going in the uk as post from USA is more than the cost of the record

    Andy was this ever officially released as it was a Neil Tommo mash up? Don’t ever recall him releasing on vinyl. Shame Neil stopped doing them as he did some great ones at the time.
