January 2014 Cd Swap
In. Get the usual suspects on the case. Dave Turner, Steve Edgar, Kev Cane, Pat Biggerstaff, John Lloyd et al, compliment it with some newbies and the jobs a good one. Mike.

Your Personal Most Played Of 2013
Seemingly never off the playlist and all down tempo... Mavis Staples - I have learned to do without you Tavares - Let me heal the bruises Soul Children - Poem on the schoolhouse door. Sam Dees - After all Black and Blue - Of all the hearts. No apologies of ever tiring of hearing these so they continued to be hammered in 2013.

I Feel Alright......!x
Know what you mean Pete. It's all about style with people like Rich and Sooty in my opinion. Rich was condescending and you could be turned off by that but as you say no one is forced to read what people post. With Sooty it's definitely style and I can honestly say that after one or two if his posts, I simply can't read them anymore. Way too much detail. Punctuation all over the place which makes anything difficult to read and then, as pointed out, too much of the 'I' and 'me' and the rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous. His motives are down to him and I really don't give a shit about his past but if he just reigned it all in a bit, he might have something worth reading. Just my opinion, mind.

Just Pure Coincidence........or What?
Hmm see what you mean. Eric Burdon, good call. Still an odd coincidence though. See from the tube that they have a Vietnam protest song too. Think I'll give that a miss.

Just Pure Coincidence........or What?
Do you know what it sounds like Gene? The 'holy grail' one is right up there with the very best amphetamine fuelled stormers.

It all has a feel of Webbydublin about it.

Dramatics - What You See Is What You Get
Probably been said before but Messrs Banks, Howard and Wilkins were cruelly taken way too early, all three died from heart attacks. If I had to choose one track above all others it would be "And I panicked" Somebody should put that up just to remind us just how gifted they all were.

Dramatics - What You See Is What You Get
And of course the blindingly obvious "In the rain" - as good as it gets. Love all the Dramatics stuff, hardly ever made a duff track. Check out the Michael Henderson written "Just shopping" - sublime.

They have to be played, not sure there is any point in owning them otherwise.

John Manship's Tease Auction
Jock,on the basis that none of my clients are likely to be members on here or remotely interested in pieces of vinyl, I can say, without fear of reprisals, that none of the miserable f**kers that I deal with are ever likely to have been as generous as it would appear RS has been. And he's a near neighbour too!

Abraham, Martin, John - Doh
And not to pile on the embarassment, the lyrics also refer to "Bobby"

John Manship's Tease Auction
The one on JM's site appears to be the one Dickie posted. So if Richard still has it, is he the one selling it now, or have I lost something in the mix?

Clubs In Manchester Mid To Late 70's
I must have gone to that because I can remember Dave Evison jocking there. Surprised that there is not much of a take up for the Chambers Facebook page. That reunion was massive.

Favorite Drummers 45
Amongst everything else that's going on, including one of the great intros of all time, I've always loved the manic drum work on the Montclairs - 'Hung up on your love'. Maybe not classic, but he doesn't half put a shift in.

John Manship's Tease Auction
