Know what you mean Pete. It's all about style with people like Rich and Sooty in my opinion. Rich was condescending and you could be turned off by that but as you say no one is forced to read what people post. With Sooty it's definitely style and I can honestly say that after one or two if his posts, I simply can't read them anymore. Way too much detail. Punctuation all over the place which makes anything difficult to read and then, as pointed out, too much of the 'I' and 'me' and the rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous. His motives are down to him and I really don't give a shit about his past but if he just reigned it all in a bit, he might have something worth reading. Just my opinion, mind.

Jock,on the basis that none of my clients are likely to be members on here or remotely interested in pieces of vinyl, I can say, without fear of reprisals, that none of the miserable f**kers that I deal with are ever likely to have been as generous as it would appear RS has been.
