  1. I must learn to do sound clips, but I can tell you it came out on two labels and both are rare. My copy is on BIG BEAT RECORDS. This record has set me thinking that we need some new blood on the scene and I do think this can do it, offering 60s class with todays vibe. Well done to whoever snaped this.
  2. Vicki Williams (Do I make myself clear) is gonna be a monster, when people wake up to it! Grab this at that price. Pat
  3. Got mine from Hip City Records for £40. Played it at Soul in The Sun and it went down a storm. Brilliant version, on my playlist and will give it another outing at J20 Lutterworth this Saturday. Good luck Pat
  4. Being local (Leek) I was a regular at the greatest little soul club before nighters began. I was just blown away by the nighters and the atmosphere. Jnr Walker was a fantastic night I dont know how to this day so many packed into that place. Any one remember the Fontella Bass night? not a packer but brilliant. Pat Wallace
  5. Thanx Sebastian These threads are great because they make you go back and have a second look. Just played "Keep The Faith" and I agree it's a good tune indeed. Pat
  6. It's just called MEL & TIM. 1973 Stax release. Forever & a Day is the only decent track on it IMHO. Pat
  7. This is a rare and brilliant record. Played it at J20 this year and had people coming up to see what it was. A resonable price for the condition as well! Good luck with the sale Pat
  8. Sound clip anyone?
  9. Some nice tunes in here at a good price. My pick is Wayne Anthony "You ain't wraped to tight". Notice Flanny has been playing this. I'v played it out a couple of times to a great reaction. Could be the next big soul night tune. Pat
  10. Hi Glyn Bought mine off Butch a couple of years ago and sold it recently for £200 (Needed the cash for incoming). Any where between £200 and £300 I recon. Pat

Must admit when I first bought it around 04 I did'nt think it was a gonna make it, then I heard Alison & John Nightingale play it at Soul Republic in December 06 and have to say it went down very well. Now there you go my memory still works after 5 pints of speckled Hen last night, impressive hey! Pat
  24. Just found a copy on WB 7804. 1974 release and a very nice tune indeed. Had been looking for quite a while and it poped up on a sales list, having seen the Manship auction price so far, I think it was a bargain price. Pat Wallace
