personally I will travel when I know that the DJ,s booked are going to play some great upfront soul, and not the same old overplayed tunes .however time and money factors also dictate where its possible to go, and there are places I would love to go, but never get the chance to.and maybe we tend to stick to the same venues because we know we will enjoy it there. some of my fav DJ,s are Dickie W.George hunt.Kieth money Kenny burrel. Des parker, woody, yeah, OK, its my old man, but I speak the truth, always err in favor of those brave men and women who have the for sight to play past the safe zone.and a good knowledge to play stuff that gonna be massive in time.

yes, it does seem that they are turning up. every now and again, but i think, 211, was a bargain, at one time this was 1000 record, which just goes to show, just cos you have loads of doe, it dont pay you to pay mega ammounts for records

for me , it has to be shawn Robinson, my dear heart.. I still love it to bits, and just love dancing to it, it sends cold shivers down my spine, thats one sound that has everything going for it, in fact, I always wanted to blow the trumpets with the orchestration.
