  16. Unfortunately i think that is just one of those things that happens, wether buying a house, selling a car, people back out...could have a good reason so not going to have a go.. I think it's a good tune meself...no i was'nt the seller but you get to hear things..
  17. No he decided he did'nt want to buy the record after winning it...hey not my fault
  18. Unfortunately that is the oldest and crapiest argument in soul history....
  19. In the end the buyer backed out and was sold for considerably less than winning bid due to the big difference in bids....I think the record is very good myself..Only comment is i thought when it went for $1750 i thought it was a good price as it is not the sort of record that comes around everyday.
  20. MMMMM!!! Byrney your ideas intrigue me and i wish to subscribe to your newsletter... I look at it like this, at the time everyone was wearing "baggies" of one sort or another back then, but they went OUT OF FASHION!! so therefore if you wish to purchase such item now you have to have them made, rent them from a costume shop or buy them from a "nostalgic" soul website or from "captain cod" at prestatyn.
  21. but as we laugh there will be people getting ready to wear clown outfits like this at prestatyn
  22. Got the instrumental version but unreleased so not sure this counts
  23. Sorry but you might be confused..they only cover up the label you can still hear the music....
  24. We need help here..saw a copy of The Rock "an asprin would go crazy (looking for your brain)" on BIT. Remember this cause it's a garage sound with the backing of Mel Williams "can it be me" Can't remember the words exactly but my mate Mr Byrne gave me a rendition the other day which albeit slightly more soulfull were are not sure the lyrics were quite correct.. Has anyone got a soundfile of this or the page in smash hits magazine theye may have been published in?
