  1. I have a friend who works at Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. I will let them know of the interest. Peter
  2. A lovely record for sure. Profound lyrics which really resonate with me - particularly given the work I do. Lots of people are one pay cheque from the gutter. Peter
  3. I don't think so.
  4. This geezer was looking for a Belita Woods the other day
  5. Ha! Not much motown to be honest. I do like the Originals. There's other stuff I like but I would have to refer back to the old Motown thread.
  6. Still can't feel anything.
  7. Thanks mate. The sort of Motown record that does nowt for me.
  8. Well, that's some pretty girl.
  9. Don't do facebook - what's the record?
  10. It's orrible. Cliff Richardesque.
  11. Hi Heikki How are you? You haven't posted for a while. What a fantastic article, for a fantastic artist. Just had a quick speed read but will do it justice later. Thanks for taking the time. Best wishes Peter

  13. Nice vest Steve! Peter
  14. Mm, pray tell. Give us an example of what you think is a good soul record. Nothing wrong with this particular Millie record or loads of her other stuff.
  15. The link dont work.
  16. Just bought one of these - won't appeal to everyone, but I love it. The raw, innocent vocals got me swooning.
  17. Evening All Anyone want to sell me one of these? Fanks Peter
  18. I think it's a fantastic photograph. Peter Is that recent? You don't look any older than you did on the 80's photograph!
  19. Sounds like the Vibrations. Never heard it before.
  20. Well worth more than occasional play in my book. Mighty fine record.
  21. I think she was very young when she made the record - maybe only 14? Pretty girl too.
  22. Evening All. I remember this record really well. For me, at the time, it was a refreshing change from all that nasty 100 mile per hour stomping shit - it had a sweet, mid tempo feel. It's not a soul record, but - who gave a flying fcuk back then. And anyway I used to love dancing to it. Pierre
